Would’ve been nice to move off of Harris, Mills and Seth.

All those wings and length(which is exactly what I was hoping we do and we did, except KD is gone, go figure)and the fact that they can defend, would have those 3 as odd men out.

Still disappointed Marks is coming out of this with Sharpe as the backup 5 unless they’re going to use Ben in that spot. That man is at least another year away from being 2 years away but Defensively, the team *should* be much better. Offensively they’re going to stink but if Vaughn get can get them lean into that side and use that length as an advantage, they should be able improve in forcing TOs and getting buckets in transition.

With Clax, Bridges and DFS, the potential is there. I would list Ben but at this point, anything else we get from him would be gravy.

Let me finish my thought on Wiseman...

I think Wiseman is a great player drafted to the wrong team. The Warriors are lead by Guard offense for years now. But you draft a perimeter athletic big. But you want to turn him into Andrew Bogut or Zaza. Passing first bigs that play defense. Then he gets hurt and you don't like the shots he's taking. Because yes that is what he's good at. The problem here was the Warriors not Wiseman in my opinion. They should of drafted someone else. It might have been better for them to trade the pick.

Yeah Gary Payton II going back to the Warrior is flat-out weird. You didn't want to sign the man. But you were willing to let him walk and then trade him for him back. I guess it was a money thing that I just don't understand. He's going to greatly upgrade their bench.

I see a lot of people being wavied. But agree with whoever said if Pat goes to Bucks. That's dangersous. He's just the type of player the Bucks need to get into peoples faces. Pat is just different in that area. He's annoying.

Curious to see who all ends on the buyout market.

I was hoping that the Sixers traded Korkmaz(who requested a trade for the second time) to free up another roster spot. As of now, one spot open. McDaniels adds more size on the wing and brings more offense than Thybulle did. They desperately need an upgrade at backup Center. While also could use another smaller 3 & D wing since Thybulle was the best one they had.

I can see Noel get bought out since the Pistons traded for Wiseman. Out of the potential bought out backup Centers, he's the guy I would want, outside of maybe Olynk

Their lineup feels like an 8 man rotation.

          Poeltl,Siakam,OG,Trent,FVV starting

Barnes (SF/PF) and Achiuwa (C/PF) being their main backups.

Not sure who is even their backup guard that'll play. Even from their current roster, they haven't really had anyone to fill that role. There's really no actual backup guard on the team. They better hope post deadline releases lead to some backup guard being available.

            An article on that

The NBA trade deadline has passed and now we enter buyout season. Over the next few weeks, we will see several big-name players, usually on expiring contracts, potentially negotiate an early release. Once these players clear waivers, they will likely be pursued by the…

Wiseman was a bust, period. Yes he can start to "get good" after 3-5 years of at least 20 minutes per night IF he stays healthy. And that's a BIG "if."

Dubs had no business drafting him based on his personal history and the fact that LaMelo Ball was sitting there and ready to play NOW. Klay had reinjured himself a day before the draft so we were down a guard, so the timing to draft Ball was PERFECT.

But this management team is soooo overrated, constantly outsmarts themselves and gets waaaaaay too much credit for the success that Curry has brought to the franchise.

No one running the team now was there when Curry was drafted, so Meyers is still trying to create his own "superstar draft" legacy. Instead of drafting the obvious choice to help Curry and take some of the offensive burden off Draymond, who will only continue to turn the ball over more as he ages (see Westbrook), Meyers totally WASTED the #2 overall pick.

Now you trade the #2 pick for a guy who wanted to be a video intern one year ago.

              Priceless.

Has his shooting improved since a few years ago?

He brings athleticism, length and energy in bunches, but they'll need to make up for the loss of Cam + Mikal's perimeter shooting.

I guess we'll see how it continues with increased roles but the Suns role players have been blistering hot from deep. Assuming Craig/Warren is the 5th starter they have plenty of shooting still on the bench. Payne and Shamet have been at 38% but the Curry Bro-in-law has been around 50% all year long. Think he's currently leading the league at 47% on nearly 4 attempts, 22 minutes a night.

Obviously KD and Warren make up for the loss of Cam + Mikal from a shooting standpoint, close enough at least any gap would be covered by KD in general. Craig is also 40% on the year.

Shooting for them is deep. Defense though, that might be an issue.

With that said I really like Plumlee as a backup big here. It's been a meme how often he's been dunked on lately and all that, but that's kinda what I like about him. Always rotates on defense. Doesn't just move out of the way for guys. Him getting dunked on makes the highlights, but I wonder how many times he makes guys second guess too. You want a guy who doesn't care about that and just tries to stop them all even if the odds are he ends up on a poster. Sounds weird, but lots of players (even some great shot blockers) won't do that.
