That and how little of the season is left is what worries me. Need to trade Pat for someone who is not small just to save Ham from using these 3 pg lineups

I think they needed an actual point guard, and while Conley looked toast last year he’s been pretty solid again this year. Still a mehh trade for them, but I’m assuming DLo wasn’t getting them anything better without taking on really bad contracts.

Probably some hope that putting Conley next to Gobert might help steer that in a more positive direction for them. They have familiarity obviously.

Conley is also just a great leader and has been for years. Wolves are building around Ant and having a strong veteran leader is probably a good move regardless of whatever else his value is. I don’t think relying on Towns to be that guy is the play.

              Why? Lol

Or you could say you got these older women(They’re called Cougars in the real world)out here chasing after these same young dudes. 🤷🏾 lol

Marks gonna end up either trading KD or making some small little deals to save money. Mans got 3 picks to throw around, ain’t no need to just sit on them.

Definitely both, but I think his point was more so the young rich dude is the one with probably endless options and is still getting caught up in high mileage cougars lol.

Not that I would blame the young dudes at all, how many young guys have that fantasy ya know? But to take it further and have an actual relationship… that’s when you’re like, but why?

A matter of just get something in return for DLo rather than letting him go for nothing after the year then?

Getting his contract off the books doesn't mean much if they will still be over the cap

Yeah I understand going cougar hunting once in a while. Its the holding hands in public that got me. They can't have a lot in common or a deep connection right?

This leaves the Knicks with 2 open roster spots.

Depending on what happens next (if anything) will determine how I feel about this trade.

I love this move for Cam . If there is any place for him to develop it's in Portland. I still don't understand what he did wrong for the Knicks. Seems like it was personal some where.

I've mention plenty of times Josh Hart is a really good player. He fits with any team!

Cam- Front office wanted him. Coach didn’t. So Coach sulked until so many players were out injured that he was forced into playing him.

Cam flashed. Played defense. Injured players returned. Coach chucked him to the bench never to see the floor again.

Portland should be good for him.

BTW..the 1st rounder in the trade is the Knicks 2023 lottery protected pick that turns into 4 second-rounders if not conveyed.
