Rockets are actually fighting the Warriors in this game. I like the effort. Definitely a change from last year.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: 10/24 - 11/6 Games Discussion Thread
I've liked Embiid’s effort on defense so far the first 3 games so far. A lot of plays he's made so far, he would have let slide last year. Outside of the Bucks game, Embiid has looked aggressive and in better shape. It usually takes him until Mid-November to get into shape lol. 10-5-3-3 in first quarter on the second game of a back to back
As I said, I'm loving the player and ball movement. It feels like Harden might play on Thursday against Toronto, so I wonder how that changes how they play. They're a lot more fun to watch compared to the last couple years.Last edited by illwill10; 10-29-2023, 07:12 PM.Comment

Re: 10/24 - 11/6 Games Discussion Thread
We've already had multiple notable names sit due to "rest".
Is there realistically anything the NBA could actually do to stop this?
Even if they ever reduced the number of games (which would be stupid and pointless), I think guys still sit the same percentage of games.
If the league flat out eliminated back to backs and made the season longer (as in, it starts earlier so that you could space out games more), or just had ALL back to backs be against the same team (so the other team would be just as "tired" as you), would that change anything?Comment

Like I said.. nothing was ever going to change. This “rule change” was just to appease people who don’t actually watch games, who don’t understand when, why, and how often guys actually miss games. And don’t really follow today’s NBA all that closely. Just like most the other recent rule changes. They just needed something to shut up the loudest part of the “these dudes never play” crowd.Comment

Ayton just doesn’t have it. Never going to live up to what he’s assumed potential was. These top level centers just abuse him.Comment

Teams are aware of Wemby. Just watched Kawhi miss an easy layup and then Zubac pump fake see Wemby. Then kicked it out of the house lolHands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Embiid with the DX chop lol. Embiid with 35pts, 15 rebs, 7 assists, 6 blocks, and 2 steals after 3 quarters. That was after Sixers were essentially peer pressured into playing him lol
Sixers up 18, so ideally they won't have to bring Embiid back inLast edited by illwill10; 10-29-2023, 08:26 PM.Comment

Wemby are the top of the key in a zone defense. Now that's very fun. I remember when the Cavs did that with me Evan Mobleya few years back.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Bones back doors he's man. He thinks he's wide open for a layup. Sees Wemby coming over. Throws it out of bounds [emoji23]Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories
