AD is obviously an excellent defender, can control the glass, and occasionally has some massive offensive outputs. I’m not sure there is even another player in the league who can do all the things he can do. The nights the jumper is falling I’m not sure there is a more compete player in the league, maybe Joker, or maybe the nights Bron looks 25 again.. but that’s about it.

But I just don’t think he’s ever going to be the guy a championship level team can lean on to carry them offensively. Not sure if he’d ever want/accept the Bosh/Love type of role but he just completely disappears far too often to just lean on.

Someone mentioned here last year, maybe during the playoffs, his demeanor and laid back style makes him fit perfectly next to another star but those same traits have him looking content with disappearing some nights too.

Skill wise he may be a perfect fit for LeBron, but demeanor wise he is a horrible fit. LeBron is at his best when paired with a high energy "warrior heart" kind of guy like Wade. AD does disappear at times, and for his greatness LeBron does still have a tendency to pout at times. Those two together aren't great, and I think it spills over to the entire team. When those 2 are locked in and on Lakers are a scary team. But when they're not Lakers look like a low energy and lost team.

Watching the lakers @ Portland highlights and I'am amazed at how methodical and efficient Lebron's game is. I know it's nothing new but it is so clean, calculated and surgical. At least in the highlights there is almost no wasted motion.

The in season tournament has been such an awesome addition to the NBA. They got Milwaukee to put Middleton back into a blowout late in the game to try to push the point differential higher.

For at least two days a week, teams actually care. I can’t wait for it to get to single elimination games.

I have to agree. We're seeing teams really go all out. I've enjoyed it so far. I think once the knock out stage starts we'll really see people get into it. Next year people will be more into group stage knowing what the finish could be like.

That's my next question does knockout count as extra games and will they count towards regular season.

It does seem like Miller could be a good player. The defense is already there and has a smooth offensive game. Just has to put it together offensively. He's just lower on the offensive pecking order now.
