I think so too, it’s weird that they can just switch possessions like that though. They can just set up a whole new set off this dead ball when at the time of the steal it was a 2-3 Laker advantage..

Just a weird ruling all around.

Phoenix needs the big 3 healthy or they aren't very good that much is clear. 2 isn't enough. Lakers need lebron to be this good just to be competitive. I'm not high on them. great game though. Denver fully healthy i don't see that many great challengers but hey it's a really long season.

Lakers still need to get healthy. Vando hasn’t played a game yet and Gabe is still out too. Rui, AD, Prince, and Hayes have all missed games too.

Every team has guys missing games obviously, but this is a team already struggling with figuring out who’s going to start, who’s coming off the bench, who closes games, etc.. so having so many guys missing games altogether while trying to figure that out isn’t the ideal combo.

Remains to be seen if they take a step forward on the glass and defensively when Vando is back, Gabe being back might help some on the defensive side too.

These late game runs and closing lineups are starting to feature Wood/Rui a bit more over traditional guards. I’d still be somewhat surprised if they aren’t shopping DLo when he’s able to be traded. On talent alone he’s probably the closest thing they have to a 3rd star, but he might be nearly last out of all their rotation guys on fixing any of their weaknesses or filling in giant “needs” the team still has.

Rebounding and missing open shots has killed them early on this year. They’ve had terrible minutes when LeBron sits, and they go from game to game, sometime even quarter to quarter from looking like they want to play through AD every single trip up the floor or just never get him touches at all. They just aren’t hitting that sweet spot.

Lakers need lebron to be this good just to be competitive.

LeBron will be 90 in an assisted living facility and the Lakers will still need 38 minutes from him just to eek out a win.

I want to give props before he gets hurt. Jalen Suggs is playing some of the best basketball right now. Playing just like that tournament run he had. Hitting jumpers and playing that annoying defense.

Bucks, Dubs, Lakers, Heat, all looking pretty damn averaged for teams expected to possibly contend.. add Phoenix to the mix too, but that big 3 hasn’t really played together yet.
