But this is where I agree with Kenny Smith. Warriors miss Jordan Poole (before the Draymond punch). They need a secondary scorer behind Curry. Klay Thompson is better as a third option.

Curry man…the hot dog 3s and turnovers at the end of this game. He just doesn’t take the game seriously enough in the closing minutes to just play good normal foundational basketball.

He would have 6 rings already if he “mamba mentality” or just some version of it. This is what non Dubs fans don’t understand when we say we need Draymonds kind of seriousness.

Go look back at Game 7 tape in 2016 finals…Dray took it seriously and Curry wanted to showboat with highlights.

Nothing’s changed.

It is amazing that dude has won 4 rings “goofing around.” That’s how talented he is. Imagine if he had the mental of Jordan or Thomas or Gary Payton or even a John Stockton.

In my own defense I am only speaking as a fan consuming entertainment not as some psychologist or as a human theorist pontificating on the state of human nature when engaged in physically demanding exercise.

Just a fan on a *gasp* sports website message board.

With that said I am not going to assume that all of the goofing around with big leads at the end of games is evidence of some sort of fiery competitive spirit not seen since the first olympics torch was lit in Greece thousands of years ago either. Sheesh. Is that how T- Mac got down?

I know he had the Brandon Ingram type look and demeanor going (from a west coast rarely saw him play full games perspective) but I never thought he liked to get goofy with it like Steph does.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say as much time and repetition as Steph put into his shot, yeah he probably takes it seriously.

Steph's game is just his game. His entire career is just a reel of questionable shot selections lol

I get what you're trying to say. But I think you were over complicating it. Warriors have been stacked for so long that Warrior fans have to relearn some things.

When one guy is carrying a team, often he is not enough to get the win and can it can be seen as trying to do too much. Does Mamba Mentality include not passing to teammates in order to take a 20 ft contested jumper over two defenders?

The hot dogs 3s are just Steph's game and you are going through the reintroduction that one man's game is often not enough to win games. I don't think it has to do with the style of his game.

Siakam looks to be the next one who could be traded.

After the OG trade I'd imagine they won't deal Siakam for a guard (and waiting turned "Fournier and firsts" into a Quickley and RJ offer for OG), so they'd have to go for a forward.

Murray on the Kings is one name that has been rumored in the past. Raptors happen to be playing the Kings tonight.
