A good first win which I figured was coming since Atlanta was the favorites with Orlando coming off a game yesterday. Credit to Murray for being 1 rebound shy of the triple double for 1 quarter plus and not stat padding it that’s something Trae would never do.

Kings are another star player away from being really dangerous and a contender. Fox and Sabonis work so well together. And in a alot of ways Sabonis is really underrated. He does everything. Fox is an assassin. I love Monk being the microwave guy off the bench. Monk is perfect in that role and can pop off at any time. Murray is solid and developing nicely.

But Barnes or Huerter should be replaced. I'd love the Kings to pick up another star. They need that 3rd guy though. Maybe next year.

The front office / owner definitely deserved a lot of blame. But Clint is on the team and $ years later starting over your 6th pick because Trae wants him around.

6th pick that should’ve been moved.

But that’s also because they tried operate like a team that could compete/make noise in the playoffs instead of acknowledging they’re much farther off from that ‘21 team.

I've been saying this since last year.. I do think Huerter's off-ball movement is a huge key for them and the Golden State style Brown brought over. Not that they couldn't upgrade him but it's hard to find a player who's willing to constantly move off ball for all his touches like that. Finding a player like him who's also more dynamic in other ways or a better defender would come at a premium cost because other than an aging Klay Thompson there aren't really any of those guys available without going to an elite 2-way wing.

Barnes should absolutely be upgraded. Even his decent shooting numbers aren't a good indication of how much he shrinks when it matters. Lyles already gives them decent backup minutes at that spot so they don't need a homerun, just someone who does something better than Barnes. Whether that be a more reliable defender, scorer, shooter, whatever. As much as I'm not a fan I think getting Jerami Grant for Barnes wouldn't be a horrible move for them. Maybe a guy like John Collins but he sorta struggled in that role with ATL.

Barnes with another triple double. 18-12-12! Only Giannis, Luka, Jokic and Sabonis have more this year.

You don't see triple doubles by a Raptor too often, surprisingly even a guy like Vince did it once in his Raptor career, but Scottie has done it more times than any Raptor in a single season ever.

Cade Cunningham.... Dude did everything in that game (too many turnovers still not a big deal). All the former Knicks played their *** off too lol. Pistons were a controlled rebound away from an upset. Damn good game!
