Big fella looking solid for Memphis too. If he keeps rebounding like that he’ll get some minutes next to JJJ.

Collier looked great tonight. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up our starting PG by the end of next year

Keynote is great but is probably best suited as a two guard

Fine. I wasn’t sure how he would do since the real PG isn’t playing now for summer league

I love that he can play off ball. But yeah I wonder how he'll fit next to Young. Personal I'm on board with getting rid of Young.

Too bad his career got cut short after 1 season. But better they discovered that health issue now instead of never discovering it at all or just discovering it late in his career like Bosh. Might have been able to have a decent career in the NBA as a backup big. If he's still around the team and coaching staff, maybe they're trying to see if he can transition into coaching or something?

Smith is undersized, but he's athletic as hell and has improved his catch-and-shoot ability.

Never want to put too much stock good/bad in the summer league but that Washington number 2 pick already looks horrendous.

What?! Alex Sarr? He looks amazing. He's going to be a problem

Dude looks terrible lol. He moves really well for a guy his size and by default it going to bounce around and make plays at the rim or block a few shots, but nothing else about him looks like an NBA player.

The limited highlights pre-draft I was already shocked he was considered at number 1 and just chalked it up to "potential" in a really weak draft but now I'm even more concerned. He's not just limited offensively he also seems to lack the self-awareness of what type of player he should be. At least dudes like Wiseman knew he needed to do "big man things" to carve a roll.. This guy is 30% from the floor, 20% from three, and still shooting dribble up transition threes at 7'0 with an open lane. I don't think I've seen him catch a ball yet and not instantly start trying to dribble like he's the lead guard.

Ugly. Again it's just two games, I don't want to make a big deal about summer league. It's somewhat promising he's both athletic and has skills. But he feels like the type who's about to be throw in the fire or brought along slowly only to be two years away from being two years away for the next 5 years. Maybe they are confident, but if that was my pick I'd be largely concerned I just drafted another Bol Bol at number 2.

Sometimes teams have to swing on his archetype and it'll pan out - Jalen Johnson and Giannis - while other times they bust in a big way.

My only problem is Washington - who has had a great off-season - relying on a rookie PG & Jordan Poole to be their primary initiators.

Bringing back Jones and moving off Poole would make a lot more sense for Sarr's early development.

I know that has little to do with his poor performances thus far, but its early and a lot of guys look rely bad in these unstructured environments.

That last part especially, which is why I wanted to clarify that I'm essentially overreacting after two games. These are essentially glorified pick-up games, and guys are going to try to showcase more, along with nerves too..

But man I'd be biting my nails right now if that was my pick at 2. He's played pretty heavy minutes as well and I'd say he's under-performed at pretty much everything but blocking shots... No idea what the competition is like in the NBL but knowing he didn't stand out there either doesn't help..

The number 1 pick looked good. Saw some quick releases. Dude is long.

Reed looked like a floor general out there. It's what he does. He plays the game under control and had good chemistry out there specially with Whitmore.

I know I said I was going to try not to call it a 2 game overreaction but Sarr tonight 0/15 and 0/7 from three.. I don’t understand why he’s even shooting them. He was 20% coming into this game, shot 28% for his team in the NBL last year, 0% in their 3 playoff games.. like maybe just stop.
