That’s a good call on them and clearly makes sense If you are the spurs. They could also add Fox in the deal so a Fringe all star and young rookie plush draft picks is a good starting point

It could be going worse but this is still going pretty badly.

Don't really have the halfcourt offense if Luka is out. They could maybe be a bit better defensively but not enough. Randle and McDaniels are going to be fresh. Feel like this series ends tonight.

Thank god. I don't have to stay up all night to watch this crap.

Why challenge that? Its inconsequential in the grand scheme of things

Rudy is like when you are playing a new video game and finally discover the meta after 20 hours. "I could've been doing this the whole time?"

He has poor footwork (for an NBA level big man) and his hook shot is terribly inconsistent (23.5% on only 17 attempts).

This small ball **** doesn't work when you can't punish him with drives and perimeter shots. Lakers have just played poorly with the small lineup & JJ refuses to play Hayes.

Unless he's hurt and I'm unaware of that.

As a self proclaimed oldhead I love seeing Minnesota clinch the series on the back of Gobert and Randle just bigboying the Lakers

It's nice seeing this overrated Lakers team out in the first round. [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

Oh yeah just for clarification I don't mean Gobert can always do this against other teams, only that with the Lakers having zero inside presence he could've and should've been dominating the paint all series

                          I got you.

Yeah, they played right into Minnesota's hands and dumb *** JJ was unwilling to adjust. Hasn't won **** and is already being a stubborn SOB. [emoji38][emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]

I think JJ did a great job this year, but man his first playoff series was ugly. It’s almost like he did the opposite of what he should do for every single scenario. And played offensively as if he believed a high ball Luka-screen would be enough. Had Rui not splashed so many threes this game would have been ugly, and LeBron and AR aren’t utilized well at all in those schemes.

Props to Randle. Did not expect him to continue this and he just kept playing well and being efficient. I know Luka was banged up but he absolutely bullied him tonight every time he had him on him.

He did a great job masking their weaknesses throughout the season and having them play over their heads on defense (as a team).

Did a piss poor job making needed adjustments when it actually matters, though.

They need to find a starting center and actually play Hayes (who can contribute in a limited role).

He was definitely too stubborn in the series. I think he fell into thinking he had a winning strategy and having undue faith that at the end he would be proven right. Even in his postgame he stuck to his guns ("we were getting the looks we wanted just not making them")

I like JJ but I do think this series put a spotlight on his arrogance.
