Pacers will get in the swing of things within a month or so. I just dont know about bender though, he looked great in pre season, looking strong, then played good at orlando, then sits pretty much, doesnt even dress. He could be such an impact player if he could stay healthy. The defense is looking a little suspect, but it is early and not too much to really criticize yet because of this. They looked horrid last night, and beat a team that seems to be on the ropes. Does anyone like Antione Walker? Every call against him he turns into a 6 year old girl and starts throwing a temper tantrum.

ive hated antoine since the first time we knocked his celtics out of the playoffs, but zo is worse now-in addition to complaining about every call, he celebrates seemingly every block with a biceps flex, and last year in the playoffs he was celebrating rebounds, lol

well, the pacers played awesome tonight, holding nj to 61 pts in the first 3 quarters-seems like the defense, which was a concern for me the last couple games, is back on track in the pacers 102-90 win (nj scored 29 pts in the fourth against the backups)

another bright spot: ronny lit em up for 30 and aj with 19 on 7-8 shooting after seeing very few minutes the last couple games

pacers in milwaukee tonight, both teams have 1 loss and the pacers are coming off a home game last night as opposed to the bucks, who havent played since tuesday-could be the recipe for a letdown, but the way we played last night, i dont think so

Tonight was a bad lost. Really bad. This team had a tendency last year and it looks like this year too of getting big leads and then in the 2nd half letting them slip away. It happened last week at Miami but we were able to win and then tonight it ends up costing us. It was missed free throws in the 2nd half that hurt us tonight but usually it just seems like they stop being aggressive once they get a big lead.

yeah i was gonna post about the missed free throws-very uncharacteristic of the pacers to blow a lead on missed free throws, but it's gonna happen more often now in the post-reggie era

I was wondering why Croshere and Jasikevicius were on the bench in the closing minutes as they are probably the 2 best free shooters on the team. Croshere had already missed 2 free throws but it was his 1st misses of the season.

I almost feel more comfortable when this team has a 10 point deficit then a 10 point lead because it just seems they play better when they are down then ahead.

And Anthony Johnson played absolutely horrible last night. After the good game Friday night he came back and looked like he didn't even belong on the floor. 34 minutes and only 3 assist with 5 turnovers and then fouling Redd on a 3 point attempt late in the game.

Tonight's game should be an easy one at charlotte, which worries me since our losses have been to 2 inferior teams imo, im lookin for the defense to hold the bobcats in the 70s, their offense is not very explosive and theyre coming off a back to back (loss at orl)

wow, just wow-terrible prediction by me, charlotte has 89 after 3 quarters to our 72-and to think last week at this time i was wishfully thinking that this team's defensive woes were solved

heres hoping to an unbelievable 4th quarter, but its likely that the pacers will fall to another subpar team-thank god we beat miami twice, otherwise we'd be in the basement of the central

well since the last post we've beaten charlotte and houston at home, great defense tonight against a tmac-less rockets squad, so far this year its feast or famine with the team D

while i was out of town, the pacers continued a rather disturbing trend, beating good teams and losing to bad teams: we beat cleveland at home, then lost to atlanta at home, and now today beat the clippers in LA

im not as mad as i usually would be at the hawks loss because ronny didnt play with an injured wrist, to me it looks like the pacers are playing better lately

after beating utah badly, an ugly loss to phoenix last night but in a weird way im kinda happy one of our losses finally came against a good team, i think thats the first one of the year, i was so sick of beating the good teams and having letdowns against the bad ones
