    Golden State Warriors

    2005-2006 Golden State Warriors

    Outlook
The hopes are high for this years Warrior team. This may be the "Phoenix Suns" of 05-06' led by Baron Davis in an uptempo style of ball. The Warriors have the best backcourt in the west and may challenge J-Kidd/Carter for the league honors. We may see the Warriors in the playoffs for the first time since 1994.

    Question Mark
Can the Warriors bigs hold their own and clear the boards? There is a lot of pressure on 19 year old Andris Biedrins and rookie Ike Diogu to help Troy Murphy (10.8RPG) and Adonal Foyal (5.5RPG) in the lane.

    Projected Starting Lineup
    PG: Baron Davis
    SG: Jason Richardson
    SF: Mike Dunleavy
    PF: Troy Murphy
    C: Adonal Foyle

    Key Reserves
    Derek Fisher
    Mickael Pietrus
    Andris Biedrins
    Ike Diogu

Yeah, I can't wait to get the season started. I hope they can continue where they left off, finishing strong towards the end of the season. They've got the same group of guys coming back so that's a good sign. I've got my tickets for this season so I'm ready to watch them reach for a playoff spot.

The Warriors have locked up Mike Dunleavy to a 5-year $44 million contract extension. Hopefully this leads to a 'breakout' year.

Although the Warriors blew the Hawks out opening night, it was surely a bittersweet victory. Baron Davis left the game in the 4th quarter due to a hammy injury and is a 'game time decision'. The Warriors will most likely play it safe and start Derek Fisher tonight vs the Jazz. It will be interesting to see how the Warriors respond without Bdiddy running the show.

I'm looking forward to wanting to see the warriors surprisingly make the playoffs after last year when they actually contested good teams. Nobody is really talking about this team, but I think they have a chance at battling for the pacific if the suns aren't too consistent with Amare.

Watching the Utah @ GSW game is pretty tough to watch. Not having Baron Davis in the lineup shows how much of an impact player he makes when he's running the point. The offense just isn't flowing. Only down 7 win 9 min to go......let's wait and see......

No flow throughout the game. J-Rich had a good game. They stunk it up at the freethrow line. Defense was pretty good but the offense was a no show....Oh well....next game is at MSG to play the Knicks, let's see how they do there.

Yeah, despite the horrible flow to the game they could have had won it. They can only blame themselves after a loss like this.. 22-38 from the line? No team should win after leaving that many points at the stripe

I'm surprised the warriors hung around the game, and especially after hearing how horrible they shot from the free throw line. I still think Baron Davis is the key to this team, he is that much better for this team and that's why this team was so dangerous at the end of last season.

                    Re: Golden State Warriors

Baron Davis was back in the lineup for the Warriors and it paid off. Despite horrible shooting from the field 29-73 (39.7%) and from the line 15-32 (46.9%), they managed to pull out a 2pt win. There's just no way you should leave that many points at the charity stripe in consecutive nights. They've got to improve drastically or this'll be a long season

yeah, I expected the warriors to blow away the knicks, but they slightly won and no wonder, because of their fg shooting and free throws.

Warriors with another nice road win against the Bucks. Troy Murphy had a hot hand going for 25pts along with 4 3pters. JRich with a 23pt 14reb night and BD had a 20pt 15ast 6reb night. All together there were 5 Warriors in double digits. The Warriors are now 3-1 and will travel to Chicago
