    Re: Golden State Warriors

Why are the Warriors shooting so many 3's with non-3pt shooters? They can be a much better team without all the 3pt attempts. Watched the Bulls game last night and they shot 31 threes! I don't think Duke or Illinois last year shot that many 3's in a game.

Now I'm not saying that they don't have guys who can nail the 3pt's BUT what I mean by non-3pt shooters is guys who can't hit the three consistantly. Davis, Richardson, Dunleavy and some of their other players can hit the three but not all game.

      Re: Golden State Warriors

I don't know, I guess they really want to be the Suns and are going to live and die by the 3. I agree that they would be much better if they drive to the hoop, specially JRich and Bdiddy who have the power to do so.

I still don't understand why the Warriors resigned Dunleavy. I've watched basically every game these past few years and Dunleavy continues to be inconsistant and passive. Why pay a guy $50 million who doesn't even play in crunch time let along 20 minutes. The Warriors usually go with Fisher or Pietrus in the 4th quarter. Absolutely horrible...

i can't count how many times announcers / SC anchors have mixed up Jason Richardson, Richard Jeferson, and Morris Peterson.

It was Jason Richardson poster night, and boy did he make a few more. I almost felt bad for Songaila

Warriors played one of their most effective games of the seasons and get even with the Bulls after that free throw loss the last time they met.

Just got back from the game, and damn, you should have seen the crowd's reaction to the two alley-oops from Davis to Richardson. Warriors played a great game in the 2nd half after a sloppy 1st half. We couldn't grab any rebounds in the 1st half, and watching Murphy and Dunleavy on D was a disaster. But, they got their act together in the 2nd half, and I was especially impressed with Biedrins grabbing some key rebounds. We've been struggling in the 1st half all year, but another win to make it 6-3 would be huge.

Well our offense was nonexistant for the majority of the game, but our defense was pretty good. We ran short on the 18 pt comeback, but I see this as a positive.. this team showed resilence and kept fighting. A few unfortunate plays, most notably that jump ball where they put 5 seconds on the shotclock instead of the 1 second..

Huge bounce back win for the Warriors, needed that morale to head into LA to face the Clippers

The Warriors aren't going anywhere without a bigman with some sort of a low post game. They can only go so far by jacking up twenty 3's a game and being carried by Bdiddy's ridiculous passes. Elton Brand took our bigs to school

I was extremely impressed with the way the Warriors played tonight vs the Nets. They had much better shot selection and we actually had a low post game in Troy Murphy. Murphy has improved greatly in the low post and I think the Warriors should utilize him down on the block more often. Our defense has to be one of the most improved D's in the league compared to last year.

Derek Fisher stepped up big while Pietrus left the game early with an injury

I agree the Warriors defense has very much improved from last year. The last play when Baron stripped Jkidd to kill the clock in the end, just shows that they're here to compete. Also Troy Murphy blocking SHOTS?!?!?!? wtf....I don't remember him doing that in the past. I hope Diogu comes back soon. I'm sure he'll be a great addition helping out on rebounds, which I think the warriors need help at. Up next the Spurs!

Pietrus has a MCL sprain and will be out 3-4 weeks. He was a key component from the bench and Mike Dunleavy's time to step up is NOW

We've been WAITING for him to step it up for a long time now! Pietrus would have been great for this game against the Spurs.
