well just about every spurs game I saw, he didn't play much or play at all, so I'm guessing that has hurt his confidence. Instead they decided to play van exel, who didn't really do a lot for the spurs.

Yeah, he was the biggest letdown in the last few years. We had high hopes in him to be a more-than adequate backup for Tony Parker, but he was no better than who we had running the point years previous.

Vaughn obviously isn't the answer either... I'm hoping for some kind of trade. We kind of need to get rid of Barry already... I'm sure he is not that happy to be in San Antonio after all the rumors and trade attempts last season.

Honestly, Beno is a smaller version of Barry...that is why Vaughn becomes important for us...

I do believe Horry will be second man off the bench behind Finley. Don't disrespect his clutch ability, and while I like Elson w/Duncan at PF, a lineup with Horry at PF, Duncan at C, and Finley playing SF with Bowen on the bench is going to be tough to beat on the offensive end. Defensively, we already know they are top 3 in the league.

Yeah... I'm super-excited about this season. As for Beno... he needs to go like Pop said, and for him maybe we can round up another pick or a better backup Pointguard than Vaughn. I kind of like Vaughn though.

Oberto going 11-11 was great the other night.

                  hell yeah man...

also... everything I said about trading Barry... sorry about that...

he has proved himself to be the real Brent Barry this year so far. He's hitting nearly all of his 3's... last time I checked, he is 13 for 17 from downtown.

                  That's incredible!

The Spurs are sitting pretty at 7-2. They were HOT HOT HOT from three last night. 100-83 Spurs over Bulls.

Damn, this thread must have been burried way back, b/c I never saw it, kool.

Elson if he could stay consistent, is going to be 28% of what David Robinson was & gave us. A BIG who is athletic, attacks the rim & REBs & blocks. What a blessing that would be for TD & our team. Orbeto is a hustler, in the same mold of a Eduardo Najera.

DEF is still not there, OFF is improved. Spurs are a joy to watch. Manu is a stud!

Manu is the true Finals MVP of 2005! He played like it last night in the 4th Qtr against PORTLAND!

Maybe, & we destroyed a bad team in the Heat! tonight is another BIG test when we face DAL @ home.

Our DEF still isn't there yet.
