Agreed, I see Farmar taking more of his PT by midseason, more so if he keeps playing with all that spark and hustle he's showing when on the court.

That first game against the Suns he had three steals in limited time, thats nice.

Smush is incredibly talented but it doesn't always translate to the game. If he keeps hitting all those 3s though I think he'll continue to get the PT.

I agree with the Smush comment. J-Far has been getting plenty of PT, so hopefully this will light a fire under Smush.

I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but the Lakers have a damn deep team this year. Everybody knows what they're doing out there, seems like everyone's always in rhythm and hitting shots. It's like we go 11 deep. It's absurd!

The only letdown I'd say so far is Sasha. After such a great pre-season he has pretty much contributed nothing. He better find his game soon because Farmar has broken the Phil Jackson doesn't play rookies mold.

Great team and great start so far.

6-3 as of now. I agree carrabba, I think we are really deep this year. Kobe had to pull us through last night though. 31, 11, and 7, not bad but the number of turnovers scares me. Odom done nothing last night. Pacific Division is looking good this year. Bulls next.

Kwame Brown is really impressing me this year... I knew he'd improve from the years past, but he's improved more than I thought. I love watching him play. Once he learns the game more, he'll be a formidable PF/C... Very athletic, he's just not as intelligent as he should be at this point.

Yeah Kwame has been very solid so far. His quickness and his instincts are great, tough rebounder, very solid D, his post game needs some work but it will come. Overall I'm pretty impressed with about everyone. With a few exceptions like Sasha, Parker's D, and Mihm being out for the season. Which Mihm would really be a waste for us and will allow Bynum to get big minutes but this hurts us on the trade market. In the future I wouldn't mind season this line-up in clutch situations.

Kobe with 52 points in 3 quarters vs the Jazz, with 30 of those coming in the 3rd. He's hit his last 11 shots.

Saw it, peeps on the west coast (the loose cannons) said to watch out for him, he was pissed at what Red dropped on him, and he came to kill.

132-102. Big win. Great game by Kobe. Very efficient with 19-26 FG. Evans had a nice game off the bench. Odom nearly had a triple double. 10-5....Clippers on Saturday.

Revenge is sweet. I'll be in the second row for Saturday's rivalry game . But before that I'll be at the other rivalry game: UCLA/SC.. I love L.A!

12-5...not bad . Scary moment last night with Kobe..he should be fine though. Kwame was great last night. Had a lot of energy and was very explosive. Farmar was a great choice by Kupcake. I think Phil should let him start sometime this season.

I swear, the more I watch Kwame, the more I'm impressed with him. He is turning up the play finally, and doesn't look nearly as soft. Luke is playing excellent ball.

This Laker squad has come together as a TEAM, and they are honestly going to be tough to deal with in my opinion. I look forward to seeing what they end up doing this year. Definitely fun to watch.
