    Very nice win.

Next four games are crucial. They are all games we should win. Can't afford to go any worse than 3-1, because after that the rest of December is BRUTAL.

Re: The 2011 New York Knicks: The Rebirth

I thought we were going to let things slip away in the 3rd but instead we regrouped and eventually pulled away. The team has shown some nice mental toughness during the winning streak.

I think it just took a while for Felton and Amare to inject that mental toughness into Gallo, Chandler & Co. The softness, laziness and "float around and just shoot jumpers" we saw for the first 7-9 games is now gone.

I agree about our schedule, Jets. Four games we really need to win. Two up freebies vs Toronto and some payback against the Wolves with a Wizard matchup in there too. If we take care of business that puts is at 15-9 (!!!!) heading into a brutal stretch to end 2010.

We have 8 games after that to end December, we'll only be favored in one and that's against Cleveland. Denver, Boston, Miami twice, Orlando, Chicago and OKC. Even if we enter that stretch at 15-9 we probably won't end 2010 over .500. It will be some damn entertaining basketball though and will def give us a heckuva barometer to see if this team may actually be something this year.

Re: The 2011 New York Knicks: The Rebirth

With the exception of that Hawks game, the effort on both ends of the court - even if their defense still needs improvement - is entertaining to watch.

There are still some frustrating moments, but you can see the team actually learning from them. Very small steps, but like you mentioned, ehh, the mental toughness is the huge difference here.

They aren't settling. They aren't just letting teams come back and take over. It's almost like, dare I say, the Knicks care. What a revelation.

If Turiaf comes back...we have a fighting chance in December.

Damn Mozgov. Dude had about 3 gimmes in a row right in front of the basket and couldn't finish. I know its nerves but he MUST get it together.

Very nice output from Williams (where'd that come from )

Mozgov has regressed, it's definitely all mental with him at this point. Missing layups, can't catch a single pass (seriously, I think he's whiffed on the last four or five passes he's been thrown.) and just seems timid out there.

Helluva win for the home team. 6th straight road win. Longest road winning streak since 1995.

The Mosgov Experience is falling apart. This shows our need for a big-man coach to bring him along.

Shawn Williams was a pleasant surprise. Hopefully he'll get Walker's minutes cause dude is terrible.

              Next up the Raptors

Too bad the Knicks know a guy that was once the leader of the franchise and continue to ignore him like he doesn't exist.

As much as I agree...he didn't do much for Dwight Howard.

Last I heard, Anthony Mason was working in that role with Eddy Curry.

I think Dwight Howard would need a big man coach like Shaq. Howard won't ever have the touch to be an outside shooter. I don't really understand what Hakeem Olajuwon could have done for him over the summer. The Dream Shake? Howard isn't going to use that.

Mozgov seems more like the finesse guy that could learn from those finesse centers of the 90s. And instead, the Knicks have Herb Williams.

Home Team does it again. Another strong 4th quarter. Shawn Williams has been playing well. 14pts in the 4th quarter.

7 in a row. 12-9 with the Wolves up next for some payback..

Knicks doing work this season. Good day to be a NY sports fan. Giants waxing Redskin's behind. Knicks do in Toronto. Hell the only thing to put the icing on the cake is to get word that Jeter and the Yankees get it worked out and he signed today.

STAT = too big, too strong.
                            Knicks are rolling.
                            Shawne Williams...what a find!
Foregt the upcoming schedule. Gotta take it game by game and savor the wins we get because we haven't had any for so long.

Tell me again why D'Antoni finally decided to stop filling up his stat sheet with DNPs?
