    In the FIBA World's Team USA is playing Russia next so if anyone wants a sneak peak at Mozgov vs some NBA comp this is the chance.

              Donnie is on with Francesca right now.

              Said Wilson will be starting at the 2 and getting a lot of minutes there. Says a lot of guys will play the 2-4 positions potentially. He likes that the team can go real big (Felton, Chandler, Gallo, AR, Amare) or real small. Thinks Amare will produce a lot of open looks for Gallo and other shooters (though that involves STAT actually passing out of the post lol). He likes what he sees from Fields, thinks he'll be a contributor at some point. Likes Kelena's defensive abilities at the two. Is excited about Felton and Randolph.

              Said he hasn't talked to Curry in months. Told him in the spring that he wasn't going to chase him around all summer and it was up to him to come to camp in shape.

              Said the team is professional and hard working right now. Thinks they want to win and all the guys are thrilled to be in NYC. Compared it to bringing in a great recruiting class in college - there's an excitement around the team. Thinks we have a chance to be a playoff team but thinks chemistry and seasoning may be an issue. Still plans on keeping all the cap space for next summer. Couldn't comment on Melo. Said he will not quit and has no plans on leaving, plans on being around "for a while" and won't stop until Knicks are back where they should be. Was asked about Zeke but declined to comment on it and he got a little annoyed by the mentioning of Thomas' name lol.

                .500 is possible.

                More importantly, the Knicks are in rosy cap shape for the next 2-3 years.

                That alone, is a biblical miracle when you consider the state they were in just 2-3 yrs ago.

                    But will Brain Dead Dolan give him the authority to hire a GM? All of Walsh's hard work will be for naught if that slime Isiah is brought back.

                            I lol'd when I saw this in today's Daily News;

                            Eddy Curry (hamstring) was forced to miss the Knicks' final conditioning drill. On Saturday, teammates lapped him repeatedly during a fitness test.

                            Also this;

                              Phenomenal news for the Knicks. Melo finally got a clue and is copying LBJ's plan.

                              Carmelo Anthony finally got on script today. He was at Nuggets media day in Denver, wearing his uniform and following the example set by LeBron James a year before:

                              "I'm leaving my options open," he told a gathering of Denver media, as reported by the Denver Post's Benjamin Hochmann. "At the end of the season, I'll sit down with my team, I'll sit down with the Denver Nuggets."

                              Anthony also got into semantics when it came to the trade rumors.

                              "I never said I wanted to be traded," he said. "I never once said anything about trade talk."

                              Anthony may have come to grips with the fact that this may be his best play. The Nuggets could still complete that four-team trade to send him to the Nets, but there remains strong debate within the organization that they should not rush into anything when it comes to dealing away their superstar.

                              This, of course, is exactly what the Knicks, who prefer to sign him as a free agent next summer rather than weaken the roster to make a trade, wanted to hear.
