Re: The 2011 New York Knicks: The Rebirth

Anthony Mason still has the widest shoulders/frame of anyone in league history. This dude is literally twice the width of Greg Anthony.

I remember some interview back in the 90's saying that he couldn't fit through door frames because he was too wide.

Great vids over at NBA.com of our practice/training camp. An hour and a half of goodness.

Word is that the Knicks might give a front office position to Chris Mullin.

I approve. I have no problem with getting more of these New York root guys in the Garden. Still think Greg Anthony needs to consider coaching.

Knicks on MSG playing Gallinari's old Italian team right now. Looking a little sloppy. Gallinari stoke looks good. Mosgov in the game. Rejects dude going to the rim

It must be basketball season when Walt "Clyde" Frazier sounds like he's been skimming through a thesaurus.

Never happen. Walsh tried that already, but Brain-Dead Dolan said no. He's keeping the seat warm for Isiah.

^ Depends on where you place it.

I wouldn't make that bet though. I think the Knicks have a great shot but not enough to put $ on it. Possible injuries, chemistry needing to develop, suspect D and rebounding still, questions at the point. No way I'd bet on them making the playoffs.

watching them in preseason, they look like a playoff team. Might be the year the Knicks actually bring me to have an interest after Xmas.

Honestly I don't feel like basketball season started yet until he I hear him do commentary.
After watching them play the Wizards I kinda like what I see. Yeah it was a watered down Wizards but the past few seasons the Knicks couldn't beat a watered down New York Liberty team. I like the hustle, the want to play D in the paint , what looks like some good chemistry already and the good ball movement with purpose.

Well if they do make the playoffs i should make more than just double of what i put down, and if the Knicks end up getting Melo they'll definitely make the playoffs.
