I'm not sure how I feel about Shumpert and Douglas in the back court together. They both always look like they are confused when dealing with each other - as if they both are trying to do the same thing at the same time offensively.

I agree. Douglas seems lost out there.

Shumpert's defensive effort is what will make him a favorite, quickly. Relentless defense, love it.

Great game last night.

Love Harrelson. That boy has NO CONSCIENCE.

The Knicks certainly get "3-happy" at times however. This is going to cause them to shoot themselves out of games.

I can't take all these outside shots. It was ridiculous last night, one bad shot after another. Why doesn't the coach take Shumpert aside and tell him enogh?

More performances like this, and Pringles is out of here.

I agree - after 15 shots I think you sit him down.

Most of his shots are from the outside now, he can't be on the floor and be productive at the same time as Chandler, and he's worthless as a rebounder and defender. Get a dynamic guard in exchange for him and a forward who will get it done on the other end of the floor.

But he leads the team in rebounds and is second in scoring.

His problem isn't offensively though I agree he needs to drive more. His problem is the effort on the court.

Most of his shots are from the outside because that's how D'Antoni wants it. The playsets start out with Amare up high and at the 3 point line.

That's the "genius" of D'Antoni.

Amare is probably one of the worst defenders in the league. I agree.

But the offensive side falls on the coach.

He didn't score 30 PPG in however many straight games last year because he was at the perimeter. They were Pick & Rolling all game long

Also it's not like Amare is taking bad shots or shots (aside from the 3s) he can't make. That elbow jumper is money and he was sinking those shots last year (and I didn't hear any complaints then).

And yes the P&R needs to return....if we aren't going to run the "staple" of Pringles' offense why is he still here?

Ish Smith was released yesterday. Hopefully yall remember him running circles around us when we played GS. He'd be an upgrade over anyone we've had play PG this season.
