I was just thinking that when they talked about Jennings.

      Guh.

Knicks play 10 minutes of good ball. First five minutes of first qtr and last 5 of game.

I'm so disgusted with the Knicks right now. Losing to Phoenix was bad enough, but losing to a team that hasn't won a road game? Disgraceful. Let's be honest - this is a D-league roster outside of the big three. No floor leader, no bench, lousy coaching - the Knicks suck. They can't beat teams like the Suns and Bucks - what's going to happen against the NBA elite????

It's bad. They look defeated too. STAT is absolutely checked out. I'm wondering if Chandler goes to bed at night regretting this signing.

Anthony looks beyond frustrated and is shooting like crap because he's frustrated and trying to do too much.

So many bad shots. Watching the Bucks and the ball movement, I don't understand why that doesn't happen on our end.

LOL @ the Bucks getting the first road win of the season against us with incredible ease. Our team is a joke.

I can't believe how badly I'm yearning for the pre-Melo trade Knicks of last season. We weren't going anywhere in the post season but the team was so much fun to watch. Felton, Gallo, Chandler, etc. This season is teetering on the edge of being unwatchable. Tonight vs Denver is going to be so ugly, I don't think we keep it within 20.

And of course the scariest part is that we've had a very easy schedule thus far. Once **** gets real we're going to be in major trouble.

              3%.

              3 freaking percent.
Because Chandler is the roll guy in this offense and Amare has to sit out beyond the arch as the stretch 4. If Amare is the roll guy with Chandler on the floor it can still work, we just aren't anywhere near a good enough passing team nor do we have a real PG to make it work.

What I don't get is that once Chandler is on the bench why we don't run PnR with Amare on half of our trips.

What kills me with Pringles is that he won't even try the Melo/STAT PnR. I guarantee you his thought process is that if you have both stars involved in the PnR that we don't have enough shooting or other players to make the defense stay somewhat honest and that it'll hurt the PnR. The problem is that he "thinks" that, he has no idea how it'll play out sine we never try it.

Like I said before, no floor leadership, man. Felton or Billups would tell these cats where to go on the court, and put them in the best spot to make plays.

I have a feeling the crowd will get REAL ugly tonight. Wanna bet Gallo has a career game?

We really need to wake-up quickly. And Baron Davis needs to get healthy just as quickly. No PG right now is killing us. We have no tempo out there. I mean Melo leading the team in assist should everything about not having a real PG on our roster

It's also sad that in the NBA a player needs a PG to direct them as to where to go on the floor, especially since our offense is so simple.

It also doesn't help that Melo and Amare hold the ball so much. Have you ever seen Melo or Amare make a touch-pass or a ping? Both of their offensive games give the defense plenty of time to rotate and get set.

As much as I hate Pringles I'm not sure any coach is going to help this team get to where the fans want the team to be. Amare is never going to be a good passer. Melo's offensive game isn't conducive to beating good teams in playoff series, you can't be THAT iso-heavy and beat good teams. If a coach can ever get Melo to be a more willing passer it would be a big step in the right direction. Even though our supporting cast is dreadful right now the opposing defense focuses so much on Melo that there are plenty of easy looks to be had.

I'll still hold my final judgment until we get a decent PG on the floor. The media and other fans are laughing at us for thinking Baron will be the "savior" but I don't think they realize that we don't have a single real PG on the roster at the moment. One guy that can see the floor, make passes, etc should do wonders.

I agree with you. These cats are professional players, you'd think they'd figure **** out on their own by now. Obviously, this team has a low basketball IQ. Like Coach Parcells said, "you are what you are".

All I can say is, thank goodness for the Giants, otherwise I'd really be in a funk.

Coaches system sucks. But he's too ignorant to play to the teams strengths. Spoelstra understood it.

Amar'e only gets ONE shot in the 4th quarter and both OTs?

D'Antoni spent the whole summer having wet dreams of Melo in a Larry Bird jersey and him winning Coach Of the Year.

That would insist that dantoni spent any time thinking/being a coach though.
