You better believe the Heat know where he is at all times. This fact needs to be exploited. They're more worried about Novak than they are anyone else on the court. This can be exploited IF they do more than just sit him in a corner waiting for 3's.

If we somehow win game 5, I anticipate the atmosphere for game 6 at the Garden to be RIDICULOUS.

No penetration, no rotations being forced means no open looks for Novak. His man has no reason to leave him to help.

I love STAT but I think his excellent performance on Sunday is an indictment on his play in the first two games of the series. He didn't show up. He was concerned about looking bad after jacking up his hand so he was really motivated. My 11 year old nephew called me after the game and said that Amare should cut his hand more often. Lol. What could I say?

I can't blame Novak. He's a catch and shoot (while wide open) player and the Heat decided that Novak will not shoot an open three. The Heat are so good defensively that it's up to the coaches to run a play or two for him. Problem is I don't think they ran plays for him during the season. Penetrate than kick out to Novak.

Because Battier/LeBron/whoever is guarding him is too athletic or too good of a defender for Novak to get clean looks. Plus Novak is a catch-n-shoot guy, usually when he gets looks coming off a screen it's on a misdirection where the defense is fooled to give him an extra second.

True. But wouldn't that possibly open something up for someone else since the heat seem soo concerned on stopping Novak?
Run a double screen for Novak with some movement on the opposite side of the court for someone else in case Novak is not open.

Movement creates opportunities for defensive mistakes. The Knicks offense right now is way too simple and too predictable.
