Part of the problem right there.

Your assistants are never going to go against you when they're you're damn family members and their job is tied to you. Picture Dan D'Antoni disagreeing with Mike D'Antoni. As if Dan D'Antoni would ever get another assistant coaching job anywhere in the league not coached by Mike.

It's like they brought Woodson in to be a mole and just break up the nonsense amongst the coaching staff. Just give Woodson the job already.

Yep, I agree. Dan D'Antoni (seriously, by the way, why do parents do this sort of thing to their kids? Hello, I'm John Johnson) isn't going to speak out against his brother. No one is hiring Dan D'Antoni.

And there's another problem, before Mike Woodson, who on the Knicks staff has been heralded as a future coach? No one. No. One. How do you run a coaching staff that has zero candidates for coaching jobs?

That should tell you all you need to know. No one is hiring Dan D'Antoni. No one is hiring Herb Williams (goodness, I know we love the guy for being a hard working scrub, but he's a real scrub. He can't coach. Why do the Knicks keep this guy around but then exile Patrick Ewing?!)

Poorly run franchises. The Knicks are one of them. Probably always will be.

Anthony made the mistake of being emotional on the sideline and being screen capped by Pared. But outside of that, he hasn't really said one wrong thing this entire time. He continues to praise D'Antoni and say they need to play harder.

Those guys know what they are doing. They are just following the other lemmings to the edge of the cliff. Showing other people that this is the wrong path by listening to it and losing as a result.

That's it in a nutshell. Only way it'll change is if we get a new owner or if Brain-Dead Dolan hires smart basketball people and leaves them alone.

.....and already I'm hearing Phil Jackson talk from Knick fans. I know money talks, but Phil's a smart man. Why would he sign up for this mess and work for a horrible owner like Dolan?

As I've said in the past, a small part of me feels bad for Pringles. He put in the time during our throw-away seasons with the idea of getting to coach a great team once our Summer 2010 plan was finished. But we all know he is simply a bad coach and I don't need to go through the laundry list of reasons why since we all know them. He had far too many shortcomings as a our coach, many significant, to be here any longer.

Now, back to the fun times, I'll be pouring a nice tall glass of Woodford Reserve tonight when I get home in celebration!

His overall record here should not be a barometer for anything, no coach in league history would have won with the roster we had for most of his tenure.
