Yeah Calipari needs to stay right where he is. There is a reason he's a good college coach. 18-19 year old kids will buy into his bull****, I dont see that happening at the NBA level

I will be livid if we hire Calipari.

Isiah Thomas Fired As FIU Head Coach

Isiah Thomas has been relieved of his duties as head coach of Florida International.

"We want to thank Isiah Thomas for his three years here at FIU," Paul Garcia said. "However, we have decided to take the program in a different direction."

Thomas was shocked by the firing.

"This is the most surprising thing that has happened to me in basketball," Thomas said to ESPN's Andy Katz. "I never been fired before for basketball reasons. This is the first time.

"When I was in Toronto, I was trying to buy a team and I left. When I was in Indiana, Larry Bird told me that he liked what I was doing but he was closer to Rick Carlisle. The whole thing in New York was crazy. This is the first time someone told me that I was being fired for basketball reaso

Dude is seriously delirious if he thinks he's never been fired for basketball reasons.

I think the fact that we recovered and won the game after this has to be a good omen.

                How is that even possible?

Carmelo was clutch, but we have to give big ups to Tyson Chandler & Shump. The things they did don't show up on the stats page, but they were huge today.

It's been a while since I've seen an NBA team miss that many quality open looks. Granted a cold JR Smith and Iman shooting a majority of those shots certainly makes it seem more likely.

Carmelo said there was trash talk in OT, which led to his 'This is my house' comment after the 3 in OT. "It was my house tonight," he said.

Carmelo was awesome yet again and getting a lot of play in the NY media but the story could easily be Deng and Rose and their choke jobs at the line. Second time this year Rose has had a chance to ice the game with a couple of free throws and bricked them both. I wouldn't expect that kind of charity from the MVP come playoff time.

Yeah Melo is on Syracuse swag levels right now. He is ultra aggressive and he feels like every shot is gonna drop. Playing great all around ball. Ive said this before but I just love Shumperts game, once his j matures he is gonna be a serious problem. Dude is a rabbid animal on d

Once his D "gets better" (translation: When the refs realize he's a great defensive player and lets him get away with more on D, because honestly guys we know that's how it works aka Fisher in the day, The Glove and others) man he's going to be a MAJOR problem for squads to deal with.

I'ma say this right now. He's already the best perimeter defender the Knicks have had since...... Walt Clyde. I haven't even seen Walt play, I just can't think of any other defensive guard on the Knicks with his skill level.

I might be missing something, but I can't see Calipari leaving Kentucky to coach the Knicks. He has a chance to finish with 3 or 4 titles in college.
