It certainly could work out, but I would've preferred Thibs, Vogel, or Blatt. Not going to give him credit for going away from Rambis, because that never should have been a serious option.
We'll see what happens and what this means for our style going forward. Press conference will be interesting.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

How do we know it's not a Golden State situation, where Tibs just looked at his options and said I would much rather be in a place with an up and coming young roster and the ability to make personnel decisions? Obviously speculation but Thibs, based on what he ended up getting, was never going to take our offer in the first place I don't think, it just wasn't as good. Maybe they knew that and didn't bother, maybe they reached out and were quickly told no thanks, maybe they interviewed him quietly and we just never heard. I just feel like Hornacek being hired shows that we never knew what was going on in this process and the talking heads were scrambling for answers just as hard as we were.
I don't know much about Hornacek other than what im hearing now which is generally positive. Phoenix fans seemed to like him, it seems like he got the **** end of an awful management situation. Im excited for us personally. I would've loved Thibs, Blatt, Vogel, but I would've hated Rambis and I'd rather be cautiously optimistic than just completely abandon hope.Last edited by DieHardYankee26; 05-20-2016, 07:56 AM.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

The Knicks should trade Lopez and a pick for Miles Turner and then go to KD with the approach of we could be a championship team. Turner and KD would make the Knicks look deadly. If KD doesn't come here pick up Conley and see if you can pick up a second cheaper FA.
IDK tho, anyone agree?Ayyy LmaoComment
