There was simply no excuse for Admundson to be out there. Only thing I can think of is that Fisher was getting REALLY conservative since we have a back-to-back.

I initially thought it was no good because I felt like his gather took too long.

Though the .1 on the clock kind of has me baffled here.

I can't tell from the pics.

I don't know how they reviewed it so quickly though. I know they use the replay center but still that was about as close as it gets and they waived it off immediately.

I guess because the lights are beginning to come on?

I thought the review was abnormally quick too. We never really got a frame by frame look during the game (MSG feed).

That was a tough lost. How does Lopez let Zeller get free like that?

Why wasn't Porzingis in the game for that last defensive play?

I personally would have had either Lopez or Porzingis guarding the inbounds. Possibly making it harder to get the ball in.

                  Arggghh.....

Can Fisher come up with a better end-of-game play than Iso-Melo? Damn.

                      • 14 points in the 4th quarter is terrible.
                      • Melo was on fire from mid-range so that was one of the few times I was okay with Iso-Melo on our second-to-last possession.
                      • Lopez had to hedge that last OOB play, either Lin or Zeller was getting an open layup. Sloppy defensive play all around.
                      • I can't believe CHA's defensive alignment on the last play, Taps just standing there wide open at the top of the key. CHA was 100% playing the lob to him on that play and got very lucky.

Yeah that was bad. Also he keeps having Grant guard the PG while Galloway guards the SG. This ****ing baffles me because Grant's defense lately has been worse than Calderons on the perimeter. He's getting shaken instantly and looks lost at times. Have Galloway guard the point guards for goodness sake and move Grant to guard the SG!
Grant is 6' 4 and better off guarding the slower taller player.

Coach Clifford said he told Zeller to play closer to the basket as they were thinking that Melo was going to get the ball and Taps was going to set a pick, this was to prevent a drive I guess? I don't know, but I agree we got lucky on that play.

Grant has some remarkably poor habits on D. Can't shoot, suspect D and he's older - there's a reason he wasn't a lottery pick. Still happy we have him, but he has his weaknesses.
