I think it's more the two-way potential than the Triangle. Monk and Smith Jr both have huge defensive concerns.

I'm going to be patient with Frank but still, def wasn't my top choice.

Re: The 2017 New York Knicks: Can we please stay healthy?

As I said before, I'm not going to complain at all about the pick.

We've hit homeruns finding international players so maybe this 18 year old has something special. He definitely has the size and length to create problems where we need it most: defensively.

Who knows..maybe he has a little Kawhi in him. None of us knows.

We're definitely following the Spurs blueprint which I can't be mad at. Now if we had the front office and staff to match, we may be heading somewhere.

I love the Dotson pick. Doesn't remind me of Holiday at all. Much better shooter, worse defender is my guess.

My question now is what do we do in free agency.

We're gonna need a stopgap veteran PG. The pickings are slim. I like what Rondo could bring but he's an absolute diva plus a headache.

Langston Galloway knows the system and he'd be nice to have back.

Also hoping we don't let up on trading Carmelo. I have a feeling it will be a S&T to LAC for Redick.

I wonder if the Timberwolves are still interested in moving Rubio? Wouldn't mind bringing him in

Hope your french rookie won't disappoint you. I take full responsability if he turns out to be a bust and I will make myself pink.

I don't think they'd trade him seeing how they just got rid of Dunn.

Plus Rubio is still a young starter in this league. We need more of a stopgap PG who can groom Frank.

There's going to be a lot of vet PGs on the market this offseason, I'm not against overpaying one for just a one-year deal. I feel like there's going to be a couple decent ones unemployed longer than they thought they would be.

Get on board now because Frank is gonna be a good one.

At 02:09 he goes head-to-head against our last pick in the draft.

Remember he's only 18 soon to be 19.

He wasn't playing against skinny 18 year olds in the ACC, SEC or PAC 12.

                Sit tight.

Definitely not the flash of Smith Jr or Monk. But I think Frank has all the elements present to have a good career like how Tony Parker came into the league.

I'm so excited about his defensive potential, any offense I'll see as a plus. 6'5" with a 7' wingspan is perfect to guard guys 1 on 1 and wreak havoc in the passing lanes. Hope he looks like Clyde on D out there.

Do you only bring up Tony Parker because he's French? Because they're wildly different players lol.

Hoping he'll get PT right off the bat, even if it's just as an off-ball 3 and D player. I will say that I feel like he has the highest floor between Monk and DSJ. If you take Monk's jumper away, he doesn't bring you much else and if you take DSJ's slashing or athleticism away, he doesn't bring you much else.
Frank looks like he should be able to contribute in a lot of different ways even if he's not scoring the basketball.

I bring up Parker yes because he's French but was referring to the age in which they came into the league and how he's stuck with the franchise for years running the show.

Parker had no jumpshot coming into the league. Frank does so that's a plus. Also think Frank is a much better defensive player than what I remember from Tony's early days.

                      Just trying to stay positive.

Hopefully Dr. Phil leaves us with some good assets once his deal expires after the 2018 season.

                          Well deserved.

With most people agreeing KP will eventually be a 5, it will be interesting how they use the 2 of them going forward.

Not much. No top FA with any sense will come to this sh**hole franchise. These cats know the deal in NY. They want no part of the losing, the dysfunction, the triangle or Phil's passive/aggressive behavior. So the Knicks will overpay for some C or D-List free agent.

Supposedly the TWolves are willing to deal Rubio for more outside shooting.

I'd trade Courtney Lee for Rubio. We'd probably have to include another player or 2nd rounder as Rubio makes more. But we'd save on years as Rubio has 2 left and Lee has 3.

Lee didn't bring the defense that I thought he would but he was great from 3. He also seemed miserable and rightly so.

                                I agree.

But after these past 2+ years I wasn't expecting to get a top FA anyway. It's who we are now.

I actually want us to sign Andre Roberson from OKC. He's atrocious from outside but he'd give us solid defense and he wouldn't need the ball on offense. He's a RFA but I wouldn't expect OKC to match because they're so cheap and in the luxury tax territory.

I also like Jonathon Simmons of the Spurs but I hate overpaying for a guy who hasn't done much.
