One thing I hope they changed in career mode was how freaking huge your lightweight/welterweight looked after training. At some points it looked like you had a light heavyweight in there against a lightweight!

Re: FNR 3 GameInformer review
Wait, EA and others have stated the games are different for the Box and the 360. So Game Informer reviewed one of them and gave them both the same score? HmmmmComment

For the online gamers sake I hope the gameplay is solid. I don't play online or with anyone else. To me, having a weak career mode is like playing Madden with no dynasty options. You can only play one season at a time. That would get pretty old for everyone involved.
And in todays day-and-age, having a such a pathetic career mode is unacceptable. People are throwing down $500+ to buy hardware that is supposed to be super sophisticated. You're telling me that with all the resources handy you can't even add a diet in there? Especially when a game already exists with these options on a previous generations machine. Truly, truly pathetic.
I'm not even sure why Kudo asks great sites like OS to put out a 'wishlist'. He obviously doesn't listen. Many people were begging for a detailed, indepth career mode similar to what VB2 has. Or heck, at least as good as HBO Boxing from 10 years ago. Why can't this be done. And when people ask for multiple REAL belts like the WBC, WBA and the IBF he gives us the finger. What about robes, or realistic entrances sans whores? Nope! Still not going to give it to you.
But hey, you want 'Flash KO', 'Flash knockdown' or the ability to buy a super-duper mouth peice that gives your chin a +3 against crossbows, he's all over that.
I realise that I'm raining on everyone's parade so I'll stop my rant and let everyone enjoy the info coming out. I'm just angry that we're still waiting for options that have been available since the PS1.Last edited by Money99; 02-17-2006, 04:00 PM.Comment

The only thing that I see as a must is having a more indepth training mode when leading up to the fight. For people who want to train, run, spar etc before a fight, we should be given the chance too. For those of us who dont we should be able to sim it. Other then that I dont see much missing. We have multiple championship belts (not sanctioned), rivals, a calender like schedule that gives us the freedom to fight different boxers and some training.
As for your wishlist of real championship belts, I dont see that ever happening. The three biggest sanctioning bodies are three of the most corrupt organizations in sports so I dont see their licensing fees being cheap. I would rather EA sign a few more boxers than paying the IBF to use their name on a belt.
To be honest, if you dont want to buy this game because there arent ring robes, sanctioned belts and realistic entrances then you probably werent gonna buy the game anyway. I tend to cut Kudo and most developers some slack (a little bit) in the first year of new generation. They are developing a game for 5 consoles this year (PS3 included) so we can only expect that they will change or add so much in one year. Also, I like the flash KO move...its pretty realistic.Comment
