Same goes for Vargas until De La Hoya or Trinidad wants to beat up Vargas again.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!! That was a great joke. Nobody wants this fight again.

It's time for both of these fighters to just go away. Especially Vargas!!!!! He talked the most sh-t in three fights and lost them all (Trinidad, De La Hoya, Mosley). Go away Vargas you are an average fighter at best.

OMG!!!! I just saw that pic but this one, yeah its little but still

So 2 things come to mind.

            1. How did Sugar do that? Where has the power been for that last several years?

            2. WHY, WHY!!!! would Vargas get pissed for the refs stoppage if his eye looked like that? and Also How did this go on pass the 8th round?

              1. Two possible reasons 1) I think Sugar always had KO power he has a lot of knockouts, and 2) I don't think Vargas blocked any punches to his face. I can't wait to see this fight next weekend, when they re-air it on HBO.

              2. That's what I'm saying too, why would Vargas get mad? He should be mad at his corner for not throwing in the towel, that looks pretty serious.

Someone on another board said they thought it might have been started by a headbutt/elbow because the swelling started at the end of the first round before Vargas had really been hit with anything. But Mosley kept hitting it throughout the fight.

Well I can see how the headbutt part is coming up seeing as how in the picture that I posted you can see a straight cut over his right eye where his eyebrow normally would have been.

He use to have power, in Sugar's frist 38 fights he had something like 34 KOs, In the last 3 fights he now has 1 KO. In the middle he was 1-4 in 6 fights where he had 1 that was a no decision and he had 0 KOs.

But however I can't wait to see this fight. Can someone keep me up to date on when this comes on HBO, so I do not forget like a PM or something?

Look at the hook Brock landed on whoever he was fighting! Wow.

how can you honestly believe Mayweather would murder Mosley? Seriously....Mosley is no slouch, Mosley has been fighting at 154 when hes an original 135.

In fact, Mosley was doing what mayweather did at 135 and 147 for his first 38 fights, then he jumped up and fought the A Class fighters and still held his own. If he moves back to 147 to fight Mayweather, he will get stronger and a bit faster than hes been . Plus it will be Mayweathers first mega fight.

I still think Mosley is past his prime, and that Mayweather's defense is slightly underrated as I never hear it really talked about. I personally don't think the fight would go the distance. Do you think Mosley is the best fighter in the world pound for pound? I think Mayweather's up there although my vote would go to Manny Pacquaio...that dude packs a punch for a featherweight.

Personally, what I think is going to happen is Mosley will fight De La Hoya and assuming Zab loses to Floyd, Floyd will fight the winner of the Mosley-DLH fight. I don't think Mosley can beat DLH again.

Yeah that is true about his slide during his last 6 fights.

The fight re-airs Saturday at 10.

ESPN reported last night that De La Hoya is fighting Mayorga next. I hope it is true. I would not mind seeing that fight.
