In fact, Mosley was doing what mayweather did at 135 and 147 for his first 38 fights, then he jumped up and fought the A Class fighters and still held his own. If he moves back to 147 to fight Mayweather, he will get stronger and a bit faster than hes been . Plus it will be Mayweathers first mega fight.
People will say that Pretty Boy Floyd will murder Mosley, because Mosley is 34 and Pretty Boy is 28. Mosley hasn't knocked out anyone since 7.21.2001 against Adrian Stone and then finally last night he knocked someone out. He has never been the Sugar Shane Mosley of the 135 or the next weight class up.

exactly, If Mosley fought Floyd hed being going back down to the weight where he was so dominant. His KO's only went down because he moved up from lightweight/Welterweight, then all the way to junior middleweight. Plus he fought mostly A-Class opponents.

Mosley's no slouch though. Yes he has 4 loses, but they were to two fighters. One, Forrest, he could never beat due to his style according to HBO's Countdown, and then he lost to Winky and there's no shame in that. However, I don't see him beating a faster Floyd Mayweather. Would be a great fight though...

I think Mayweather's up there although my vote would go to Manny Pacquaio...that dude packs a punch for a featherweight.

Personally, what I think is going to happen is Mosley will fight De La Hoya and assuming Zab loses to Floyd, Floyd will fight the winner of the Mosley-DLH fight. I don't think Mosley can beat DLH again.
Nah I dont think Shane is near P4P #1, heck im not even saying he would beat floyd. I just think people are looking past the facts of Mosley and looking at the media hype of Floyd being untouchable. Like ive said, Mosley moved too far up in weight, which caused him to lose his power (much like DLH vs Hopkins), and hes been fighting top class opponents one after another. And I believe if he moved back down to 147 where he was dominant before he jumped to 154 that he would have a significant Power advantage over Floyd and although not as quick Mosley has FAST hands.

That is gotta be the biggest joke, Del La Hoya is gone from boxing since 6.5.04 and now he magically jumps back into the title picture over other boxers who have been waiting in the wings. I hope Oscar gets stopped!

I think Floyd is deceptively strong, ask Sharmba Mitchell. I kind of wish Tito Trinidad wouldn't have fallen off the map. I still think the middleweight and welterweight divisions are probably the best in all of boxing right now.
