I fought a dude last night. I was Ali and he was Frazier. I got stung with his left hook throughout the fight and was in the KO moment like 5 different times but managed to hang on. I knocked him down several times throughout the fight...FINALLY..in the 9th round out of 10 rounds..Frazier could not get up..completely exciting and I was trying to manage a horrible cut that couldve had the fight stopped. Completely exciting and going 9 rounds toe to toe is about as close to going the distance as you will get..
Now also keep in mind that real life boxers pace themselves....video game boxers go for the knock out..punch like crazy which causes the boxer to tire and be more proan to getting Knocked the Phugg out!!Redskins Fan. The 82 Smurfs will never die. 83/88/92 NFL world champions!!

Perhaps I throw too many haymakers and my boxer tires because not all of them land of course. I got knocked out in the first round by a guy who threw NOTHING BUT HAYMAKERS right hook, left hook and so on..non stop..couldnt get a punch in edgewise. So...what is the secret to all of your victories....even at 10-13 I am better at boxing then I am at Madden..Im tired of getting spanked online.Comment

Not career mode, but I did go a full 12 round fight vs Holyfield with Roy Jones Jr. No knockdowns, I landed one stun punch in the 12th, but couldn't knock him down. The fight wasn't close, I lost every round on each card.
By the way, I'm completely new to Fight Night and this was my second bout ever on the medium difficulty on 360.Comment

In my Heavyweight career, I was knocking people out by the 4th round until I made it to the under amour fight were I had to fight a real fight and box, it took me till the 7th or 8th round before I knock'd my opponet out. It was my best fight yet.I learn'd quickly to not use big punches early so much becuase I would always tire out early.

Not career, but I just finished a great fight. Sugar Ray Robinson (me) vs Sugar Ray Leonard. Went the distance with Leonard winning unanimously (117-110, 114-113, 114-113). Fight ended with me knocking Leonard down just before the bell. It was the only knockdown, and he got up at 8. Very intense fight, I just got started too slowly.Comment
