Great fight, but I think Hatton pulled it out barely. The 8-10 first round and him managing to stay on his feet in the 12th sealed it.

I don't think Hatton is ready for the big boys just yet.

True, he isnt ready for PBF. but that wont stop him from fighting him. DLH and Hatton are my top guys currently for never ducking anyone. Hatton will take all fights; cotto, pbf, margarito anyone. dude has mad heart.

Yeah, but heart alone won't get the job done against seasoned vets like DLH or PBF. I'm still shaking my head on how Hatton stayed up in the 12th. Looked like dead man walking.

It was a pretty entertaining fight... I was pulling for Collazo since he's from my old neighborhood of Williamsburg where I grew up in Brooklyn... I don't think he got robbed, but I do think he should have won... That last round, I don't know what was keeping Hatton up.... He did a good job of clinching and buying some time...

But by no means is he ready for PBF, or any of the other boxers that he mentioned as being on his radar... Those guys are way better than Collazo, and Hatton would get served hard if he stepped up against them...

Hatton looked really slugish tonight and not his normal self. Im sure he'll be back around. Id guess he fights the winner of Gatti-Baldmire next.

Decent fight, Hatton looked confused and bewildered at times but he stuck to his gameplan and kept the pressure on Collazo at all times. I agreed with the decision, the late rounds really won it for Hatton ALTHOUGH I thought Collazo was going to floor him in the 12th, Hatton was visibly stunned and hurt, I can't believe he held on. I'd like to see him fight Gatti next, that'd be a great fight IMO.

PBF is a different style. You never know Hatton sytle may fit well against PBF.

LOL no one has the style to match up with PBF...Hatton showed tonight that he has trouble with guys that have quick hands, no one has quicker hands than Floyd, he'd be able to tee off on Hatton all night long. The only things that would keep Hatton in that fight would be his pressure and his ability to be relentless, he'd have to crowd Floyd like no other to make it a fight and even that may not work. I just think Floyd's speed and the way he can fire off punches and combos with rapid fire would be way too much for him.

Hatton didn't look too good, but remember it's his first southpaw in a while and let's not take anything away from Collazo-he was the WBA Welterweight champion after all. However, If he doesn't mature into a welterweight quickly he won't have the power to deal with Oscar or Felix. Overall I wasn't greatly impressed with Ricky, but time will tell.
