complex, I was just kidding...it was a joke man. Cant you see how insane it would be to use Larry Merchant, dont you see the comedy in that?

I'd love to see a "contender" type RPG boxing sim.

I was directing my comments at you, but actually agreeing. The game does need commentation from actual fighters and more than a few lines.

        Oh okay, then we agree

One other thing, is the venues are horrible. EA should be creative enough to create fictional Vegas casinos to fight in, or multiple gyms. 1 big hole was in carreer mode I was fighting in $100,000 fights at the Garden and Staples Center, then all of sudden, the grimey training Gym came up with a six figure purse to host one of my fights. How unrealistic is that? I think that is one area where EA has always faltered. In the previous version I fought at the same country fair over a dozen times. In this version, every fight (once you become popular )is either in Madison Square Garden, The Staples Center, or the Aragon Ballroom....not realistic.

which one had all those options that you mentioned regarding changing your diet for certain weight classes, watching tape on your fights, etc?

I know this is an old topic, but just finally played FN3 while out of town, and I had a blast creating myself and going through the ranks. I played against my bro-in-law, and while he was just throwing wildly, I went in w/ some strategy and was able to absolutely kill him in a number of rounds. He'd tire out quickly, and be wide open. Still not too comfortable w/ the stick yet, but I'm getting better with it. It's a lot of fun if you actually box instead of just going out and throwing a wild number of punches.

Anyway, I made the virtual WTF, and I look eerily like myself. Lots of fun to watch me get busted up, only to come back and counter a guy.

            Fun game if played right.

Who says it has to be totally realistic? And why downplay it's playability with references to "a few beers" and "a rental", when it's currently the best boxing game ONLINE? When VB goes online then we can actually compare the two. I'd like to see some improvements or a new game too, but nobody else has stepped up to make one.

Fn3 isn't a bad game but it could be better, The things I dislike are... Career mode and how are the boxers seem to stand infront of each and have a slugfest. The price has dropped since I bought it so it's well worth the pick for the $.

This Boxer's Road 2 for the PSP is unreal. If VB2 is even close then WOW.

You actually have to train a fighter into the style you want, through sparring, diet and training. A career is actually a career, not a series of matches. Hell you dont even get to jump in the ring for a pro career until you have proven yourself. And not just by a few ametuer fights.

                  I am loving this game.

Is Boxer's Road 2 available in the US?

Any updates on possible boxing games for the 360?

I was considering getting FN3 at a discounted price. I really liked the first one, but the career mode is so weak it gets old pretty quickly.

I just picked up a 360 recently, and the only thing that sucks about that is that the next Boxers Road game will most likely be for the PS3 since they've been with Sony all the way. Do they even have import games for the 360? And if so, what do you have to do to play them on a US 360???
