Pavlik might opt for an easy WBA world title against Felix Sturm or fight IBF champ Arthur Abraham, who Miranda lost to by decision, despite f*cking him up by breaking his jaw in two places.
Sturm has never been the same since getting jobbed against ODLH, but I disagree about King Abraham. He would not be an easy defense. I actually think Taylor would be easier than Abraham. Plus, you would have to fight him in Europe where he has a ravenous following.

Just saw the end of this fight, didn't even know it happened until now. That said, I have to agree that Taylor's comments are what turns casual fans off boxing, and even some of the more dedicated fans. The state of boxing is just, to take Lampley's continuous phrasing, "dreadful."

Undercard was awesome, They should have shown the other undercard too. The main event was anything but an event...The commentary was a little ridiculous too, I think Lampley may have tipped a few...

I disagree about the state of boxing. There are serious problems, but the term "dreadful" indicates that it would be impossible to fix. There is a ton of talent in boxing and a few changes here and there and boxing would be a major sport again. Unfortunately, these changes won't happen.

I might not have expressed myself clearly enough. I do not think Abraham would be an easy fight for Pavlik. He fight a hard hitting Miranda for several rounds with a broken jaw.

That was the worst "big" fight I've ever seen...no joke. Spinks is an absolute fraud and joke and I'm not sold on Taylor either.

Hopefully he won't duck Pavlik now after he destroyed Miranda who made the boneheaded mistake of calling Taylor out before getting his dome caved in.

JT said he'd fight anyone at the press conference...let's see if he backs it up now. A big part of me believes he wants no part of Pavlik.

                Update for anyone who cares.

Steward will stick with Taylor and the reason why they are having so many problems (and hence why Steward will stick with Taylor) is that Taylor and his management team are picking his opponents without the advice of Steward (he is only training). Therefore, this is why Manny is getting so frustrated with Taylor because he is getting matched up with guys Manny would never fight because you can't look good against them. Kind of shows how shortsighted Taylor is that he would not use Manny as a source for knowledge and opinions. Wlad is not managed by Manny, yet they always have discussions on possible matchups before anything is signed. So in case anyone cares, Manny has had no input on his matchups, hence, maybe Taylor's handlers are protecting him and putting him against lower class opponents (weight wise).
