Agreed. I want him to expose B-Hop for what he is. He won't get Taylor after Pavlik brutally knocks him out again in February.
If I was Kessler, I would chalk this up to a Holyfield-Lewis type of deal, go in the other direction, and just beat everyone else. Aside from JC and Pavlik, Kessler EASILY would beat everyone from middleweight to light heavyweight.Comment

I had a hard time picking against Joe since I assumed Lacy would beat him easily. Also I had not seen many of his fights. With Kessler I thought young, strong, good technique, and very hungry; Calz getting a bit old and probably ready to be beaten. Oh boy!! I couldn't be anymore wrong.
I cannot imagine any fighter from 160 to 175 who could beat him. I would love to see Hopkins vs Calz, but I think Calz workrate and style can outpoint the great champion Hopkins.
I also hope Kessler can bounce back, because he is the real deal. I also can't picture anyone other than Calz that can beat him. I would love to see a bounce back match against Taylor or Miranda.Comment

Just finished watching it again and sadly Kessler was near perfect and that is how truly awesome Calzaghe is. When he embarrasses B-Hop (who most likely will run and not fight him), JC will cement himself as a 50 ATG and no ***** could take that away from him.
By far my favorite thing about Calzaghe is when he gets tagged, he immediately comes back at his opponent. Might be one of the most discouraging things in sports for his opponent....
Kessler caught him at least 10 times where 99% of the MW-LHW would have staggered.Comment

JC is most likely going to fight light heavyweight titleholder Clinton Woods next. B-Hop will price himself out of the negotiations because he knows he will be thrashed by JC. If B-Hop signs, I will be shocked.Comment

I doubt thats the reason B-hop will price himself out of the negotiations. JC is coming off a huge win but B-Hop is still the bigger name in the states. B-Hop is also the current Ring champ in that division and Calzaghe is coming to his division. He should be paid more than JC.Comment

Wrong.
B-Hop can't fill an arena.....JC can fill stadiums.
B-Hop, pound for pound, is one of the most boring fighters on the planet and his PPV and TV ratings and numbers reflect that.
B-Hop will duck JC. I will be shocked if the fight comes off.Comment
