Hopkins is ignorant & racist. You can be both, in my eyes, ignorance breeds racism. He also made remarks about Taylor's brother committing suicide, saying Taylor will wish he's the one that would have committed suicide instead of taking the beating Hopkins was going to supposedly deliver. Ali use to do the same thing. Calling Joe a gorilla, Forman dumb, etc. It is like pro wrestling. Trash talking is a form of promotion. After the fight they will embrace and go off and count their millions.

Off course I know he's doing it to sell tickets. Same reason he started a fight with Winky at the weigh in and was fined for it. Still doens't dismiss the fact that he makes ignorant and racist comments. You can hype up a fight without resorting to the tactics Hopkins uses. Millions would be tuning in especially in the UK to wwatch Calzaghe regardless of who he was fighting.
On top of that, this fight doesn't need hype, its not a PPV looking to sell tickets. HBO has its own promo dept. The purse has already been set. He's a low life, and yes I'll watch it, but I'd watch it anyways, thats the main reason I have HBO is for the boxing.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment
