Re: Fight Night Round 4 Producer Interview Questions

    Will punching power affect accuracy??

I believe accuracy should be a new rating in Fight NIght 4. You could be the strongest fastest guy in the world but if you can't land a punch you can't win. This should be reflected in game.
The same way quarterbacks need accuracy to hit their receivers, boxers need accuracy to land. i THINK this will be the best way to show your boxer improving through your career. His power & speed should remain relatively consistent throughout your career since its usually god given. but your accuracy and confidence makes your boxer more dangerous.

      I just have two things.

      1. How are you looking to improve the career mode?

      2. Will the all-time greats/past boxers still be included in career mode? (Hopefully not.)

Re: Fight Night Round 4 Producer Interview Questions

1.Are there going to be more options and sliders?
2.Will there be news articles about differents fights and happenings?
3.Will there be an option to integrate your created boxers into your career?
4.Will there be a watch mode?
5.Will there be a Fight card mode? In which you can put together a fight card with different fighters.
6.Will there be an amateur mode and will it be longer?
7.Will the ref be in the ring?
8.Will there be CPU LOGIC for the Created Boxers?
9.Will we be be able to create more than 10 boxers?
10.Will we be able to have a stable of fighters to manage
11.Will we have a large judge pool and the judges should judge on different criteria: some like the total punches landed, some like power punches landed, some will always favor the champ, etc.
        12. How much customization are we going to be able to this game?
13.Are we going to be able to view other scheduled matches?

Re: Fight Night Round 4 Producer Interview Questions

1)This is more like a request than it is a question. Tis is somthing I find rather simple do but nessessery. For those who'd like to see a Victorious Boxers 2: Fighter's Road career blended seamlessly into FN4 career mode, here are a few of my ideas:

2)There are litterally tons of mangement aspects to do VB2:FR, and that's before you are even schedule a first match. Like picking your gym you plan what gym and country you fight out of. You'll go to scheduling meals you put together to eat shown visaully in the game, and maybe there could be even suppuments you can take also. It would have about 8-10 traing excercises (with maybe 2 more unlockables to each gym) that does plenty for your stats/technigue. all this talking about schedule and didn't bring up making weight. if your fighter's is not a "disapplend" fighter (which there should be a new stat, BTW) he's gonna gain mad wait bettween fights. You have to a fighter that eat's right, work hard or his caeer will be over. Oh, and your whole list and plans are wriiten on a calader.

let's get on to the second part of my request, and what EA did with the FNR4 career. First off, there is only one training session you can pick out of 4-5 mini-games, lasting 8-10 mins a piece, then go fight. Which could be fun to some peeps out there. I guess. But that's what you got Facebreaker for now, right?

Well, my idea is to merge the two carrer styles together. it's yery simple. You start off your carrer, you've picked your gym and trainer. This is where you start with your nutrition for the first week, picking and tuning your excericises and food to your liking. Then schedule an open training event to break up the manotony. So you should get to train every 4 weeks and on your calender. You pick the date to hold your open practice and you can choose form 8-10 mini-games. You train while a croud cheers you on. The larger you get in the fight game the more fans whould turn out ta watch you train (they might even chant your name and wave flags if you get that far and become lagendary statues). This clould boost your adrenaline stat and also get you in with the fans and boost some kind of 'fan appreciation' stat. Or just choose to skip that part of the whole training and just sim and go to the fights.

3)Will there be a TV broadcast style presentation i.e. proper sound FX, camera(s) and comentary. The makers Fight Night Round 3 didn't even try this style presentation. They always said they wanted to put you in the ring, while not every player wanted to be in the ring for each and every fight. This aspsect of presentation is somthing I really want to see in Round 4. I really think this is something (EA) could benifit from, because a broadcast style -- cameras and everything that goes along with it (maybe even a PPV type deal) -- could really bring back memories of a young Mike Tyson and other great fighters.

Do you like or dislike my ideas?

Will EA capture the atmosphere of boxing?.....WIll big fights feel like big fights before and during the fight?

WIll the fights have different outcomes instead of Knockouts every single fight?

Will the rankings be "alive"? Meaning the title(s) changing hands among human controlled and CPU controlled boxers?

Will the speed of button punches be toned down to equal the speed of using the sticks? Or will you make the control stick mandatory.

Will sparring play a role in this game?
How much control will we have over our weight and diet?

Concerning TPC, will it be tweaked so you don't have to manually perform a 3-point maneuver to throw a punch?
In real life, it doesn't take a boxer more effort to throw an uppercut from a hook.

Hows it going folks? From what I've read previously here, I think we can boil it down to one very major question.

                        1. Will there be a dynamic career mode?

Something comparable to a franchise mode I guess you could say. To be perfectly honest, if this open career mode is implimented, I would go as far as to say that you dont need many big name fighters, which in turn could save development money.

Just to reiterate whats been stated, the "alive" rankings, where the A.I. is actively participating in the "season". Belts are won, belts are lost, in matches that you as a player have nothing to do with. Active matches where you can be a spectator. Dynamic, is the key word.

You mean like the 16-bit 'Evander Holyfield Boxing' had?

I still remember the first time I beat Evander for the belt. And then while I was defending it I could see up and coming, undefeated, prospects making their way up the rankings - praying they would still be undefeated when they met me.
                          It was awesome.

I was never able to go undefeated myself though. The best I got was 39-1. In that career, I had never been knocked down or beaten until my 39th fight. But by then my stats were half of what they were when I faced a monster who floored me 3 times over 7 rounds before being KO'd. I won my 40th fight but I would have loved to have gone undefeated to retire 40-0.

Fight Night had something like this before. I like how I created a bunch of boxers and they had fights. We meet a couple of times and some actually won titles or went undefeated.

Yep. That is one thing I LOVED about Fight Night Round 2. All of my created boxers would show up in the rankings at some point and they would move up and down the rankings. I had over 40 created boxers so it was sweet.
