What's the best boxing game ever?
Just wondering what everyone thought was the best boxing game ever? Desperate for a really good 1 to get my teeth into.

Re: What's the best boxing game ever?
Best thing about the Victorious Boxers2: Boxers Road was the career mode from the diet to the thousands of boxers in the database and rankings to the multiple belts to the 20 or so different training techniques, the list goes on. But the actual in ring fighting left a little to be desired. I liked the angles you could punch at and the flash knockdowns, but there were too many knockdowns, very rarely did anything go to the cards, no cuts, no stoppages due to injury. The in the ring portion of the game was definitely lacking.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Re: What's the best boxing game ever?
Here is a vid of the game play. You should be able to find the game for a low price. I purchaed mine for $25 a year ago on ebay.
There are a ton of fighters from all over the globe. First you must make it out of Japan by securing a title in that country and then the rest of the world opens up to you. Youc an even move to another gym at that point. You schedule fights and then you work out the workout, diet and rest schedule. All these work towards your speed, defense, power, and even ability to take a punch (oh and weight). If you do not make weight you can still fight but you are stripped of the title. Fights go to the cards also. Injuries occur too. I had my jaw broken and still completed the fight but I was unable to fight for 6 months.Follow me on Twitter - http://twitter.com/complex219Comment

Re: What's the best boxing game ever?
You speak the truth. Boxer's Road 2 on the PSP is one of the deepest games ever.
There is another VB game on the PSP that plays better than Boxer's Road 2. If you have a PSP and love boxing games then both of these games are worth the import.Comment
