I'd rather see him against Pavlik because RJJ is past his prime. RJJ still might beat Calzaghe in that fight, but I like to see two guys square off who are near or at their peak.

Every press conference, every promotion will require cumbersome interpretation of Abraham's words. Dude can't do a sit-down interview on ESPN, can't be a studio guest on "Friday Night Fights" on ESPN2, can't really be the star of a "24-7" reality show on HBO if he doesn't speak a word of English.

Take it from someone who works in sports PR: That's a roadblock to promotion in the U.S.

It would be one thing if Abraham's mother tongue was Spanish, as there are millions of Hispanic-speaking fight fans in the U.S. But somehow I don't see the German-speaking U.S. population causing the PPV cash registers to sing.

You have a point. I'd personally prefer Pavlik-Abraham, but upon further reflection Pavlik-Calzage would probably be the bigger fight, at least financially.

I don't want either one to lose though

Then we need a controversial draw, which would set up an even bigger rematch!

Yeah man, Pavlik losing would be bad for boxing. He is young, undefeated, and just starting to become a reason for casuals to watch. I wan't Joe to retire undefeated. I have been a fan of his for a while, and I really want him to be able to retire with a spotless record.

I agree. The thing about Joe is that if he fights Roy Jones and wins he wont get much credit for it. I think Joe should fight Abraham. And Pavlik should fight Kessler. If Joe beats Abraham hes the truth. If Pavlik beats Kessler then it would only set up a superfight between pavlik and Joe. If Joe wins he can retire undefeated with a legit track record.

He most likely will fight Rubio. JC is tied up with RJJ. Mora and Wright have priced themselves out and Duddy has finally come to the realization he can't compete at this class so he is moving down.

I have no problem with it because the Ghost is young and already has a great resume for his age.

There is an outside chance Paul Williams moves up to fight Kelly.
