Yeah, you are definitely right about thought. It seems that the judges are not scoring those shots. I jiust seem they are only scoring the right hand for regular fighters and left hand for south paws

As, bad as it seems the point system in the Olympics is great. All the match's I have seen the winner was the winner and the loser was the loser. I not sure how it developed it self out that way but it has happened. Even when the points were low the winner has always won.

You haven't watched all the matches then. I've seen at least a half-dozen matches where the clear winner ended up losing.

You know it's a problem when Atlas and Papa spend at least 30 minutes per telecast being verbally mystified at the scoring.

It's 3 of the 4 judges have to click the button to score a punch and it's not at the same time...they just have to push the button within 1 second after the punch is thrown.

It's an absolute joke and has ruined any enjoyment Olympic boxing used to bring me. It's almost unwatchable to me knowing that every fight is basically a crapshoot determined on variables outside of what should be determining the outcome.

I stayed up and watched the US Bball game the other night and sawLampley sneak in his ode to how much Olympic Boxing sucks in his Games wrap-up speech. 100% valid in the fact that the scoring system is worthless and hurting the sport.

That goes for all 'sports' with judges. Unless the outcome is decided by the competitors its just a beauty pagent. But, yeah, olympic boxing is the worst of the worst when it comes to this.
