Prediction: If JMM happens to beat PBF ( which I highly doubt ) then we will see Pac-Man-Cotto before Pacman-JMM lll. Cotto would bring more PPV buys and that's what it's all about. Unless ofcourse Cotto loses to Clottey. ( which I also doubt )

        Margarito/Cotto was great.
        Mosley/Cotto was great.
de la Hoya/PBF was above average, imo.
        Hatton/PBF was pretty good.
        Vazquez/Marquez III was a classic.
Pavlik/Taylor I was great an II wasn't bad.

Maybe I'm forgetting a few but a lot of these fights were good.
totally agreed. these were good, if not great fights. depends on what your definition of a "great" fight is too. a quick knockout, a brawl, tactical fight, etc.

Margarito/ Cotto was not great! I understand how you're looking at it but Cotto would have beat that fraud if it wasn't for that plaster in the gloves. Cotto was punishing him!

this is soo true and it pisses me off that people can count that as a loss on his record.

just because Pacman beat De La Hoya & Hatton fast than Mayweather means nothing.

Manny is a more aggressive fighter, Floyd is a counter puncher. Floyd uses his defense to set up his offense. Manny uses his offense to try and beat you to the punch, land and get out of the way before you land. 2 different styles and styles make fights.

I thought the fight was well worth my 50 bones. I enjoyed watching PacMan's superb boxing skills on display. But then again I'm a fan of his so..

Different story for casual fans though, but when watching a ppv boxing/mma match, you would have to keep in mind that flash knockouts may happen in any given round.

Margarito probably had plaster of paris in his gloves in that fight, I agree. But I don't think that means that action that took place in that fight wasn't great.

At what weight 147? Probably. At 140 it'll be a better fight than you think, at a catch-weight between 140-147 who knows???

point taken......it seems strange to me that floyd had called out de la hoya for so long and never even mentioned pacquiao, who is much more in his prime. and he BARELY beat de la hoya.....

Why would he call out Pacquiao? Floyd was on top at the time. Dude is all about money, and DeLaHoya was the biggest money fight out there. Nobody was thinking about Pacman like that until NOW. Therefore, any suggestion that Floyd 'avoided' or 'ducked' Pacquiao is unfounded; One could make a better case that he ducked Cotto and Mosely. Now that Pacquiao is the biggest money fight out there for Floyd, we will see what he does. We'll see if he avoids Pacman or not.

Wow. Hatton got F'd in the A bad. In the great words of smokey from friday. You got knocked the *uck out. He should of moved his head more to so Pacman's shots wouldn't have been so accurate and maybe he would of lasted a bit longer. I had my money down on Pacman from day 1. Especially after that Mayweather vs Hatton match up.
