This. I agree completely with your take on the game dynamic if EA properly implements what they said they would. I hope they have a stamina slider so punch counts don't get out of control between 2 human players, but I think other changes can be made if this does not happen.
If its a problem I should think raising punch power and/or lowering toughness should do the trick as mentioned before. I think this would set the jab/cross to actually hurt someone which would created some more windows off a nice combo.
Maybe it is me but does the stick and move and fighting backwards seem lacking in the demo in general? Granted I have not played previous versions on FN3 in next gen so I can't tell how different actual gameplay is from a demo. Also should the fighters hand power be so close together (hatton and pac's left seem to close to their rights)? I think a bigger differential would help with strategy and sim better no?
Does anyone have any opinions on the punch accuracy % and if this is something at needs to be changed? Bottomline with the sliders, I think by raising damage comparable with the average power shots landed in a round it will force players to actually box. Hopefully they will open up the footwork better as well as it seems like the player is wading in water compared to blocks/punches. this "arcadish" demo.
Also, Is it pretty much a given that PBF, ODH and others will be DLC or they didn't get contracts done at all?
Who are they joking with putting the entrances in for DLC? That would be a huge DL and something they would rather use in the next installment since it appeared they didn't really even have it created yet, plus makes the least sense as far as DLC $. Now if EA creates a patch than that is a different story but I don't have much faith in that.
