Listen to the FN audio review on the Main Boxing thread page Its a 2 hour or longer review as 2 of them have the game and go over everything and tons more info then the guys who have the game here give no offense to them ,but I listened to it 2 times its the only thing helping me wait till tuesday.
It starts slow but then they cover EVERYTHING .
Not sure who they are but they have a inside and 1 may work for EA .
Its seems like none of you even bothered to listen ?

I agree it'll be nice to add new fighters and keep it fresh via DLC.

It better keep it fresh, we're stuck with this one for 2 years.

They have money to buy the NFL and NCAA liscense what makes you think they can't do this?

Thats because EA proably shoves out more money for those titles. I doubt that EA Tiburon gets the same budget as EA Canada.

I got a feeling that if the DLC boxers that are unannounced (De La Hoya, Hopkins, etc) sell well; we can expect Round 5 to have a slimmed down roster with an ala carte style DLC model. $60 for the game (which has a roster of maybe 20) and $2 boxers maybe one a week. Kinda what Rock Band does.

Heres to hoping the FNR:4 DLC bombs.

I hope your wrong but the poster isnt off base I read it in article DLC is the future/focus especially in a game that is 2 year release .
No cost no production just keep adding on and collecting $5 here and there , music, arenas , gear and boxers could cost easily more then 2 games total in a short time .

Totally agree. Why is EA so cheap compared to THQ? I thought EA was a bigger company than THQ or whatever company made the UFC game calle but yet we are going to have to pay for extra boxers via DLC. These boxers should of been in the game from the jump start. UFC has tons of fighters in the game compared to FNR$. At least let us create like 30-40 slots.

But its kinda different with UFC though. Because all those guys are under the same company. EA has to go out and try to get an agreement with these boxers individually.

UFC had these guys sign their lives away. Like a ten year exclusivity deal for these games (I remember the article cause one guy almost quit). So Dana White had all the say. Much easier to agree with one guy than many individuals.

I agree, I personally have no interest in using any of the legends. It just seems unrealistic to pit someone who's been retired for decades against someone who still fights today. I don't really like that. I'd rather see money invested into the fighters of today.

It's like the All-Time great teams in Madden or NCAA. I can't ever remember playing even an exhibition game using one of them, unless it involved an achievement.

Who publishes Rock Band? EA... they pretty much invented the ala carte model of DLC. Its not a conspiracy its all but a matter of fact. Just wait 3 weeks after the game comes out you will be the first one on here complaining about De La Hoya being DLC.

Well you're in luck my man. In FNR4 we can decide who's in and out of the legacy mode. Plus you can add as you go. That's whats been said anyway.
