IS THIS TRUE OR IS THIS GUY OVER-EXAGGERATING????

GT:TENNESSEESLIM now # 5 on the leader boards but honestly the game sux cause all you have to do is stick mash with foreman and your damn near unbeatable. the one guy that did beat me was 1-16 and just plain out mashed me i have had few fights go past 3 rounds and very few fights were i had to really concentrate to win.\

the only real enjoyment i get online is head butting people before i knock them out and then making them watch the replay.

i can easily throw 700+ punches with foreman in 6 or so rounds and still have stamina and points. i feel like an a-hole for playing like this i would much rather play sim but its to easy just to mash it up.

imagine: the pressure and body work of Cotto with the punch output of Paul Williams on meth and the power of Foreman. thats pretty much what its like

Is online this bad, i have decided to reopen my hard heart to this game as it is the only one coming out for a while worth anything

Can People who have played online speak on this??? this is important because he is supposedly number 2 in the world and he wins this way

Is there no hope at all for oustide boxing???

ouch, what's the default level for online play? Either way I can already see how unrealistic MP is going to be, thankfully it seems like the AI plays fairly realistic.

I had 3 fights like this last night. It was so boring because I tried to stick and move and all he did was jab, jab, jab, jab, well you get the idea. This is why I am only playing people I know or guys from OS.

NBA 2k8 was the perfect online sports sim, or as close to perfect as one could get. Hardly ever ran into cheesers and when I did they were still beatable. That game rewarded smart play. There's no reason why EA couldn't replicate that with Fight Night as well. There's no way guys should be putting out that type of punch output. Seems easy enough to adjust the stamina whereas that isn't possible to do. But, atlas, no matter how they market the game to us the big money is in the casual consumer so this is what we get stuck with.

If this truly is the case, which I can see it being, hopefully they patch the stamina issue soon. 100 punches a round should equal no power behind them after a while...should.

You can go on any competitive game, such as UFC Undisputed and find turds like this.

That is the reason I don't even try online play. EA should make some kind of rule to this, or maybe hire some online ref players to watch over these highly ranked matches to see this does not happen.

I don't bother playing online and never will. But I do enjoy tactical fights, when they do happen. Rarely

In the online world championships that wouldn't work IMO. I played a guy that was out throwing me about 110 to 80 a round in the 1st 3 rounds. I was ducking punches and pounding the body. He would punch himself out and I would go and place shots on him, I won a 4th round KO. I was losing 29-28 on two cards after three and had it 30-27 on the other. In online world championships ratings ar balanced though.

Button mashing doesn't work on UFC and that is what makes it so good.

so really there is no difference between stick or button mashing i dont see how a button user would have a advantage right??? i think a tck user could win handidly as well as visa versa

and yes u can avoid people who fight like this but u really dont know until u fight, fighting the computer 100% of the time gets tiring sometimes, good to mix it up with a human i suppose

has anybody been able to win consistently fighting on the outside???

Body punch spamming seems to be the preferred method online. I've only really fought one guy who wasn't a stick masher, and he beat me once, and I stopped him on cuts once.

The only difference is with the button you know which punch your going to throw but with the stick its pot luck. Mashing is the same and online sucks... IMO this is a single player game.

I figured it might be tho, as they are the easist punches to throw on the anlolog stick
