    Re: Legacy Mode Discussion/Progression

It seems that there's something strange going on in the legacy as time progresses... I made my way up the ranks of the middleweight division and won one of the championship belts... On the way there, everything is as expected, with tougher opponents (higher OVR and skill attributes) as I go along...

However, after being asked to move to the Light Middleweight division, I've noticed that all of the fighters in the top ten + champ holders are really weak. I think all these guys are fictional scrubs, and none have an overall that reaches the 80's. Even one of the title holders was a 69 overall! Of course, I picked on that guy first and won EASILY, TKO at the 3rd rd. Then I (shamelessly) decided to defend my belt against that same guy over and over again until he retired.

Did anyone else encounter this after their move to a higher weight class? Maybe it's only a Middleweight to Light Middleweight problem?

I'm having a blast, although I have not broke out. I am 6(2)-4-1. I know, not that great of a record. Using Benecio's sliders and getting some stiff competition on Champion.

As mentioned in a earlier post, I want to cherish my wins, etc. Winning every fight, isn't that fun. I've a light heavyweight named Caine 'Lights Out' Matthews. Recently fought someone and got KO'ed in the 8th after a 3-fight win streak.

He asked for a rematch and I took the bout unanimously in 10 rounds, flash ko'ing him once in the 4th.

My legacy continues to freeze. Rumor has it they're fixing the issue. Until then, I won't even bother attempting to start a legacy anymore.

My legacy is freezing also. I don't know why, this is like my third legacy fighter.

How many fights do you guys take a year? In other words, how many times do you train before each fight? I was just doing one but now lately I started doing 2 and 3.

It all depends were your at in your Legacy. If you are still a up and coming fighter, it's best to fight at least 3 or 4 times a year,as you progress you should take 2 fights a year seeing as though the competition gets tougher. But really its all up to the individual. Since playing my Heavyweight Legacy and getting a lot better at the training games, In my Welterweight Legacy, im going to train twice before a fight when im still in the 50-20 ranks, and when I break the top 20 I may train 3 times before a fight.

In my heavyweight Legacy, it took me 10 years to get a title shot. I was 30 years of age. And most fighters were retiring in there mid 30's, so im not to far from retiring I believe. But at least I can say I was a Heavyweight Champion before I retire.

                  Re: Legacy Mode Discussion/Progression

After restarting my legacy twice due to freezing, I've finally had over 10 fights with my own created David Tua (only decent CAB I could create). My record at the moment is 11(11)-1-0 on Champion difficulty, and my overall is just over 70 with my rank around the low 30's.

My first 10 fights were pretty easy picking everyone off by around the 6-7 round. My first loss was against George Foreman. He challenged me and not looking at who it was I accepted the challenge. My high 60's overall couldn't stand a chance against his 90 overall and I was destroyed in 2 rounds with his punches going right through my blocks. My last fight was against some scrub who I ko'd in the 5th round.

This game's awesome and other than the heavy bag push and maize bag, I like the training games and find them pretty easy, especially the heavy bag combo game.

34-0 so far. I started at lightweight and won the titles (unified them) and moved up to welterweight and have now unified them as well. I am scheduled to fight a mandatory vs Sugar Ray Leonard next. I am ranked 2 on the P4P list.

How do they start to diminish? Do they just randomly go down or does it tell you which ones are diminishing? Or does the training just yield fewer rewards? I've already noticed that the training has gone down and I'm only 23. My right hand power (from the heavy bag push) used to give me +4, now its only +3.

well i lost my first fight.

i was 10-0 and i wanted a somewhat easy victory so i re-matched a guy i beat a few matches ago. he then proceeds to knock my block off. i was hot!

funny how as soon bump up my power slider to 6 i get my *** handed to me. needless to say its back on default now. not just cuz i lost but because it seemed like every few punches someone was stunned.

Im convienced that your ratings take a hit as you get older. The first one I notice was the swelling, that jumped from a 88 down to a 78 after two fights. Next was my punching power in both my right and left hands. My right went from a 95 to a 90 and my left from a 88 to a 82. I got those back up a little with some more training, but now that I am Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World, I may just retire on top, instead of having some young punk come along and take my titles, that would suck.
