Can someone explain the difference between a patch and DLC in terms of me retrieving them?

A patch in general will be automatically downloaded and applied the first time you start the game after it becomes available.

DLC is optional and you have to download it from the XBox Live marketplace.

I just hope they do something soon because the game is unplayable online. I switched to lightweight last night, thinking it would be better, but it was just as frustrating. I fought a guy where he'd just try and stick to me and throw body punches. It was crazy.

In between rounds I thought, "How is this guy doing this?" Well, I found out. The next round I held my controller on an angle and simply went berserk on my right analog stick. I actually kept up with him and he started to back off.

After the fight, I vowed to not play WC mode until the games is fixed,
