THQ did say they are working on a fighting game with another major developer. Could this be some type of THQ-2k project? THQ does use havok for UFC. Just putting the thought out there.

This sounds almost too good to be true. I'm very optimistically cautious on this one. If the customization is deep and the game plays sim, I could play this for years.

All I want is a boxing game where the jab is actually a meaningful punch. (EA )

You're obviously ignorant to 2K's excellent marketing strategies.
Didn't you know that it's always best to promote your games 10 minutes before release and not one instant before hand?
Also, it's never a wise thing to talk about the game before or after release. That's just good promotional aptitude right there.

2K is one of the worst companies for marketing their games properly. No wonder the company's having issues.
NHL2K10 is a great example. It's a pretty good hockey game but you would never know it because nobody's ever heard of it.

That's why I wouldn't be surprised if this was real. Actually, come to think of it. It's gotta be fake. No way 2K would try to get word out about a game that's 10 months away.
It's all making sense now.

LOL..that is so wrong but oh so right. Although, 2K did a good job this year with MLB.

Visual Concepts would be a fitting company for a boxing game. They pay attention to details of a sport.

This sounds to good to be true, Watch the Graphics look clownly as hell.

SCREW graphics.. if the gameplay isnt realistic the graphics dont mean anything... I would rather play a text based boxing game with excelent realism than a state of the art graphic design and crappy gameplay... any1 else agree???

I'm a true boxing nerd and there isn't anything touching Title Bout Championship Boxing as far as gameplay. Title Bout Championship Boxing is the best Text-sim I ever played.

Wow, someone other than me on here plays Title Bout? And, yeah, I haven't played a better sports sim than TBCB.

Like most of you have stated, this game sounds too good to be true so I won't get my hopes up until I hear more. If it is real, I would like for them to have their create-a-fighter feature available online similar to NCAA's Teambuilder. They could open it up about a month before the game comes out, and there would be tons of fighters created by the time it drops.
