My issue is how boxers react to punches. Too much just walking thru punches & throwing a flurry. Nothing seems to slow an attack down.

Re: Issues in FNC that have to be Addressed
my main concern is how people can just hold down the power button and never get tired yet i touch the button once and my stamina depletes, even though i make contact. And the backing away the whole time by people and able to throw power jabs as they walk away and it damage anything.Comment

Re: Issues in FNC that have to be Addressed
EA has a horrible track record with presentation. They decide on one or 2 ways a fight can end (if we are lucky) and call it a day. They take all the tension out of their games by ignoring what makes sports so exciting. It's a shame and until they realize that we are left with predictable dull outcomes to each fight."I'm addicted to Video Games, and i chase it with a little OS." -Winston ChurchillComment

Re: Issues in FNC that have to be Addressed
right i'm not asking something like mike tyson punch out where the punch is super animated. but there should be alittle more reaction to getting punched, head snap, a punch should be stopped in its tracks and not connect back. or how about a little stumble when you catch someone.Comment

Re: Issues in FNC that have to be Addressed
I'd like punches to be more meaningful in the game. I find myself constantly laughing at this game when I'm playing against the CPU, because both of us will engage in a slugfest without there being any real consequences. Monster punches will connect all the time, to the point I'd be seriously concerned for the mental health of the fighters if it were in real life. But both fighters will just stand there and trade monster, brain damage inducing bombs all day without there ever being a knockdown or KO.
I understand that cranking up the punch effects would result in many premature KOs online, but that's the price of realism. In real life, you're afraid of the big KO, so you don't go out there throwing random, reckless flurries. The game should reflect that.Last edited by CX1329; 02-15-2011, 10:58 PM.Comment

Re: Issues in FNC that have to be Addressed
got beat and watched my health drain while being punched non-stop to the body. They need to address that...maybe punish body spam by hitting someone in the head with double force while they are non stop punching the body. I beat the next guy who was doing that, but he only threw 190 body punches lol.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Re: Issues in FNC that have to be Addressed
one of the biggest things that bothers me is after you get up from a knock down .. . every single time you are perfectly fine. Why couldn't they put you in a temporary stun state, some of the time, to simulate the boxer trying to hold on til he gets his legs back.
you can just get right up after a knockdown and fight like nothings wrong with you. I just KO'd Ali with Tyson after I was knocked down which could happen, but I never felt like I was in any danger after I got back up. This could be a simple fix I think, anyone else agree?Comment

Your health is lower after a knockdown, so it does help to go after them when they get back up.Comment

Re: Issues in FNC that have to be Addressed
i'm a little worried about the one punch kos, in the videos i've seen, it seems to happen when the person has just recovered from being stunned, meaning the person stunned is the one who lands the one hitter quitter
A Little concerned, i watched the vids on a couple sites
