The game is still decent. Cuts are realistic, not over the top with every boxer getting cut every fight like before(online).

If you don't have alot of patience then you better stay away from OWC. The search system has changed so that boxers on different levels get matched up with each other now, instead of just being matched up with someone on your level.

So you can expect to fight alot of top guys and they can be frustrating with the cheese they pull.

H2H has less cheese and if you rather play with real fighters anyway I say play there.

After owning the game for over a year, I can say I am still enjoying it.
    Lineup:
    PG) Gary Payton
    SG) '95-'96 Michael Jordan
    SF) Sapphire Scottie Pippen
    PF) '95-'96 Dennis Rodman
    C) Hakeem Olajuwon

But it sounds as though career mode (created boxers) don't receive cuts/damage?

      What about damage to opponents?

I would suggest picking it up man. This is actually the one game that has stayed in rotation in the 360 since I bought it release day.

Find yourself a decent set of sliders and go strictly offline legacy. Its great. If you're a sim head, playing offline allows you to play sim style all day long.

To answer the question, yes there are cuts and damage in career mode that are represented pretty realistically in my opinion.

Now that I think about it, I don't see much swelling, I see lots of cuts and bruising though.

I've gone in and re-edited the boxers. I've learned a couple of things on my own which have probably been said in a couple threads since the game came out:

          1) The Counter Punch-Aggressive slider is the most important slider when it comes to boxer punch output. This slider is not really about whether the CPU will be a counter puncher as it is how many punches he would throw. With this slider turned down to "0" all the way over on the counter punch side...the CPU will average anywhere from 40-50 punches a round. With the slider at 8-10(just 8-10 clicks to the right) the CPU with throw between 70-80 punches a round. So, I keep that slider between 0-10 at all times. I've edited most of the boxers to replicate their true to life style and outputs.

          2) The Plodder-Move(forget the name) slider is very important too. For all boxers with the exception of Heavyweight, Light Heavyweight, some Middleweight, and a select few Welterweights, I have this slider turned all the way up on the Moving Around side. This gets the boxers to actually move around the ring and not just stand there and go head up brawl style.

          3) The Created Boxer cut glitch was never fixed...so created boxers still don't get cut.

          4) I lowered a whole lot of boxers Speed and Conditioning slider. I don't know what it is about EA but they are very heavy handed in their games when it comes to speed and quickness. Not every boxer has superior hand speed. So, I adjusted that along with boxer conditioning. That way I don't have to come down too far on the Stamina Global Slider.

With these adjustments, I've seen an interesting mixture of fights. I've seen 12 round decisions...I've seen 1 punch KO's...I've seen Knockouts from boxers who were on the losing end of the scorecards.

One fight in particular was Ali-Tyson. Ali was giving Tyson a boxing lesson and winning on the scorecards...til Iron Mike ended the nights festivities by 1 punch KO in the 10th round when he put Ali on the seat of his pants with a devastating hook. I've definitely enjoyed this second go around and is my hold over until the new football games drop.

If anyone wants to play online I'm tarheelphenom35
Taking a stab in the dark here, but can you post an offline file with the fighter edits? If not, could you make a video of the fighter's edits so we'll know where to put them to get the same results that you are?
