I'm excited about that news. I really hope this doesn't fall through. I won't believe it until they are in the ring and the bell has rung.

Golovkin-Murray is in Monte Carlo. The TV guide says 4:45 PM-6:00 PM (CST).

Cotto doesn't want any of that.

GGG can kill you to the body. I don't know how Murray lasted as long as he did after being body attacked and knocked down in the fourth. Maybe it's because he's a pretty good fighter.

Murray showed a ton of heart and toughness. i don't think Cotto wants any part of GGG either. we shall see...

I like cotto, but that's a bad matchup for him. And honestly i think people forget, cotto isn't really a true middleweight, he's really small for middleweight. Honestly the only fights i'm interested in seeing GGG fight at middleweight would be against the winner of quillin/lee, cotto, and canelo. There's not a lot for him at middleweight, he's gonna have to move up some.

Cotto fighting GGG is as likely as Money fighting him. Canelo might, but only for a LOT of money.

Yeah, i don't think GGG wants to see ward honestly, and i can't see him beating ward. And i would be shocked if mayweather fights GGG, his name still isn't THAT huge yet, and not to mention GGG fights at 160 i think, mayweather can barely get his weight up to 150. He's too small. I feel like out of all the names i listed for GGG opponents, i think canelo would be the one most likely to try to fight him. He seems determined to fight whoever people say is a threat.

Not sure Ward is in a hurry to fight GGG or anyone else for that matter. I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that Ward wins that fight, but despite his inactivity, he'd probably be favored.

Yeah ward's already said he needs a tune up fight, which i understand. Coming in after a long lay off against someone like GGG could be dangerous. I still think he definitely beats GGG, too crafty, and has fought much better competition and convincingly won. GGG is a great fighter, but he's very hittable. And it seems like he doesn't really counter, he lets you throw then he throws(very effectively and accurately i'll say). He definitely has the power to put ward down, but i see ward neutralizing his power. I'd wanna see that fight either way though.

Also Chavez Jr vs GGG would be awesome and chavez actually called out GGG and said "Without his power he's not that good of a boxer, I'll bet you GGG a million dollar of the purse that I'll knock you out if we fight .." which to me is ironic because i would say chavez jr is faar from a great boxer and without his huge size he wouldn't of bothered as much people. It would be interesting to see if GGG could put a dent in his iron chin tho.

That is the thing. Ward will need to get back into the ring and knock off the rust. I think he has the boxing skills and the pop to give GGG all kinds of problems, but is he still the same hungry fighter he was. Ward and his team needs to get him into the ring sooner than later.

Ward would be GGG's best opponent, but i think GGG would dismantle him at this point. GGG is currently the most active champion in all of boxing. Ward is the complete opposite of active!
