    So it wasn't a brawl.
If anyone expects a Floyd Mayweather fight to be a brawl then they have no idea who Floyd is.

How anyone could be surprised with how the bout unfolded is beyond me.

I knew what to expect, its just how can anyone call him the greatest when there have been better fighters who can brawl and have the same defense

Mayweather pretty much absorbed Pacquios combos SpongeBob style, but like 24th said, hype brought up this fight a lot.

Yep the hype was from years ago, at this point they are both just old guys

You shift the goalposts as well as Floyd rolls his shoulder. I did not see anyone claim he is the greatest.

Start watching other boxing matches because there are a lot better ones out there.
Manny talking about how he won the fight was embarrassing. He was outclassed. He didn't want to get countered so he slacked up on his output, and those early right hand leads of Floyd got his attention.

First half of the fight was somewhat interesting, but the second half showed Manny neutered, eating gnat powered jabs. ZZZZ

              NO REMATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How many of those fighters are 48-0 and held 4-championships at the same time?

I don't think he's the greatest ever, but to act like it's crazy that some people think he is is even crazier.

I was surprised by how passive Manny was. I did not expect the punch totals to be so close.

He's the greatest of his era, and Id say top 10 all time. Im only 24, but I haven't seen anyone as great as Floyd is defensively. Offensively, he's not high output, but he makes up for it with accuracy. Its his style and its effective, shouldn't lessen what Floyd has done.

I certainly never called him the greatest, and I never will unless he beats GGG at 160*. There is no doubt that he is one of the greatest.

Meanwhile I look forward to Canelo-Kirkland next week.

Pac just needed to throw more punches.. I know it's easier said than done but he won every round that he backed Floyd into the ropes..

He lost by a good margin, but it was winnable for him I believe.

I wondered the same thing. Was he worried that he would tire out? Was his confidence not that high? Especially the last 3 rounds, I don't buy for one second that he thought he was winning. Why didn't he go on the attack more?

Speaking of outclassed...Jeremy Schaap in this ESPN interview of Mayweather.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
