Would You support a New Boxing Videogame?

I got a quick request. If you want a new #boxing game, there's reason for optimism.
    Please answer this poll question.

WOULD U PRE-ORDER A BOXING GAME FROM AN INDIE DEV?

PLEASE RT and Like the Tweet. Let's tons of votes - @RossSymons @POETICDRINK2U

Did you forget to link the tweet?

I can't lie though, I'd need to see some sort of demo and if it looked halfway decent then I definitely would preorder.

Not a chance I would pre-order the first boxing title from an indie dev without playing a demo. Build a good product, and I'll buy it.

What track record does this group have with combat sports games? I'm just supposed to trust them?

Sorry, I'm not that stupid. My toilet is for excrement, not for flushing money.

Seriously, man, it's not a good sign that an indie dev is fishing for pre-orders to fund development of the game. Not a sound business plan.

He has the means to make a video game and he's very interactive. Fans can't ask for anything more. He's trying to give fans the game they want and he said he's will to do it.
Put it this way we can scare other companies into making a game because they fear competition.

If he has the means, then why are you asking for pre-orders? Why must we make a financial commitment without a demo? Surely this cash-flush company also must have the means to conduct some basic market research?

"Scaring other companies" is funny, man. It's pretty hard to fear competition in the boxing gaming market when the last sim title released for consoles was Fight Night Champion in March 2011.

Fear, EA likes competition and you talking a former EA Community Leader and EA Fight Night Senior Moderator who had many conversations with company.
Many companies do Pre-orders. I told the CEO it would be better to do a Kickstarter with a laid out plan.

is it not possible to remaster fight night champion for ps4 and xbox one? or make it backwards compatible at least?

Companies with proven track records do pre-orders. But your Kickstarter idea and plan are much smarter. Hope your contact pursues that route.

Wondering if this is an EA issue. How many annual EA franchises are backward compatible?

The only EA sports game I can think of that's BC is Skate 3. I don't think any of the Madden, NHL, Tiger or NBA Live games are BC. Older versions of those games for this generation are available on EA Access, not as BC.

It would be fantastic if EA Access added Fight Night Champion to the Vault as a BC title.

I don't think any of the Maddens are. I have some Madden anniversary game with the old classic '93 Madden on it, but it's still not compatible with the Xbox One.
